Asterisk Queue + Caller ID issue
Ok I have a queue that is working perfectly. The problem is when one of the agents is outside the building on an external phone line (say a cell phone). My telco hangs up on the call . I think the telco is hanging up on these calls because there is no CID attached. (I know my telco wont connect calls without ANI, so that is what it is my assumption) So first I need to prove my assumption

Asterisks, Sip to Local PRI/PTSN issue
Alright I've been having an issue when trying to dial out locally when coming from SIP. This used to work no problem, now it doesn't. Now the local PRI to Bell Is working fine I have calls coming in and out of it constantly right now. BUT if I try and make a local call from SIP (from X-Lite or one of our Linksys SPA2102s) It fails every time with errors like these == Using SIP RTP

SIP Issue
Alright I have a SIP phone located off premises with a very annoying issue. Well I say a sip phone it is actually two phones hooked to a Cisco Spa 2102 Link: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10026/index.html Each phone being a different line/extension. Alright either line can ALWAYS make outbound calls no issue. The problem is on the Inbound side. I'm completely stumped as

Caller ID and DNIS Problems (Non-Pri T1)
I am trying to receive both CID and DNIS from the telco through a non-pri T1. Currently I have the T1 setup and operational both outbound and inbound calls are completed as should be expected. The calls came in and were placed in the context specified in zapata.conf on exten => s,1. I have requested that the telco provide callerid (they call it ANI) along with 10 digit dnis for my 800

Variable Name needed
Other than having stripping out IPs this is what I am receiving for my voip calls. Now I normally use ${CALLERID(rdnis) for RDNIS, this works fine calls that come in on my PRI. BUT at least from this VOIP source the To field which is my RDNIS information for these calls, doesn't actually fill into ${CALLERID(rdnis). But as you can see I'm getting the information. My question is, Does

AGI PHP
I'm just trying to make a real simple Survey via php. Just want it to play the Question Files, wait for a response, save the response into the correct variable and then email it all. I have no issue playing the audio or emailing. But I can't get it to wait for digits or to properly capture those digits into the variables. I know the code is technically right since the emails have this

Ideal setup for PRI/T1 and TE110P
Hi all, I'm sure something similar has been discussed, but one can only wade through the archives for so long. I'm setting up a T1 and my telco has a bunch of questions it wants me to answer. I know much of the TE110p is configurable to do any of this, but I wanted to know if there is an optimal or preferred setup. Any help would be appreciated. Here is the quiz my telco is giving me:

D4 AMI - No Caller ID
I currently have Asterisk deployed in my office with a TE411P. On the first port of this card is a T1 from the telco setup for D4 AMI. Unfortunately, I'm not receiving caller ID on inbound calls from this line. The caller ID information is arriving in the form *ANI*DNIS*. In zapata.conf, I have signalling set to em_w. The DNIS always arrives correctly, but I'm never receiving the ANI

any ISDN/PRI signaling experts out there?
I have officially engaged in a pissing contest with the local Telco over PRI calling name delivery. The telco publishes their calling name delivery over PRI feature as being bellcore gr-1367-core compliant. The gr-1367-core spec states that the calling name is to be included as a facility IE in the setup message, or sent in a subsequent facility IE message with an indicator in the setup message

Stepped deployment - T1 PRI passthru
Following the successful deployment of asterisk servers at several of our branch offices, in the near future, I'll likely be implmenting an asterisk server at our HQ. We currently have a T1 PRI terminated on a legacy PBX. I'll be doing a stepped deployment in which, via a dual T1 linecard, the asterisk server will initially pass all incoming/outgoing calls directly through to the PBX.

Set caller ID for outgoing PRI calls
Hallo! Finally we have E1 PRI connected to our Asterisk box. Now I have one question. My internal extensions (_XXX) are SIP phones connected to Asterisk. Our telco routes some public numbers (_71602XX and others) to our Asterisk via E1. Some internal extensions can be reached from outside using public numbers (e.g. 7160234 -> 200), and some others cannot. Everyone can call outside
