One way audio
Perhaps I was a little too hasty in my conclusions of dysfunctional fax on the SPA-2000. It turns out I have a one way audio problem on line one of my SPA-2000. I have all the correct settings according to the comments in the wiki, but the problem persists. However, if I do a hook flash out of and back in to the call that isn't transmitting audio, it works fine. My sip.conf entry for the

I’m working with a grouped data object, called Orthodont in the nlme package in R, and am trying to fit various models (learning methods for my thesis), but one of the variables in the object is numeric, (age) and I need it to be a factor. I’ve tried: as.factor(Orthodont$age) as.factor(as.character(Orthodont$age)) and various other things, but when I then

Assistance with data import from Statistica
I am a new R user attempting to convert files from Statistica to R. I can export from Statistica to SPSS .por format, but not to the SPSS .sav format. Is there a procedure for easily accomplishing this, which will allow me to keep variable short and long labels (big surveys LOTS of time to replace all this work). Many thanks for sharing your time and knowledge. steve Dr Steven M Burgess

I can create a box and whisker plot without any problem from the command line, but incorporating that process into a bash script has proved problematic. Below is the portion of the bash script that fails: R --save --no-save --vanilla << EOF CAPE.df =

The Public Appology To Francis Cianfrocca
Dear Mongrel Users, It appears that Francis still isn''t satisfied with my attempts to apologize and he''s now asked me privately to retract my statements. So, just to be sure he finally gets it: I retract my statements that Francis and his friends are "shady" and "desperate for cash". He is in no way a shady guy, having dealt with this situation with the
