chan_iax2.c:7672 iax2_poke_noanswer
I have two units at customer locations in the Caribbean registering to a
server in the US. Both units are connected to the Cable TV company's
internet feed. If I run mtr to the units I see clean internet and low
latency, but when I watch the CLI, I see constant problems. The audio
quality is terrible, but I can't see why.

Hi,
ZAP/DAHDI extension 3210 calls an Asterisk queue 4050 with one SIP agent 4053 added via ->QueueAdd("4050", "Local/4053 at from-internal/n", 1) (not via agents.conf).
SIP extension 4053 rings, answers and then decides to blind-transfer to ZAP/DAHDI extension 3666.
The "show queue" command still displays 4053 as "In use".
However, if 3210 calls 4050

iax2_read: I should never be called - issue 8286
Hello !
I 'm having a machine running asterisk 1.6.0.10 with IAX and dahdi.
The calls are going in and out from IAX2 to dahdi (chan_dahdi + libpri)
and vice versa.
After a period of time, I got the following scenario:

"chan_iax2.c: Ooh, voice format changed to ..."
Can someone explain me this message:
"chan_iax2.c: Ooh, voice format changed to ..."
Where can I find a list of numeric codes used to identify voice format?
Then, sometime I get an infinite loop of messages like these:
DEBUG[15015] chan_iax2.c: Ooh, voice format changed to 1
WARNING[15015] channel.c: Unable to find a codec translation path from g723

chan_iax2.c Ignoring Port For Now
Hello,
I have searched the lists, and have seen this message posted numerous
times, however there never seem to be any replies to it.
I was curious if anyone had figured out the WARNING:
File chan_iax2.c, Line 5466 (set_config): Ignoring port for now
Everything seems to work just fine, however when I try to change iax.conf
port to 4569 it doesn't seem to like that either.
Thanks,
Brent

IAX2 module hung and unable to unload chan_iax2.so
Hello everybody,
This is a problem disturb me for long.
I run asterisk Asterisk 1.4.14 and A2Billing 1.3 in the same Debian 4.0 ETCH
server. And there is also FoneBridge for TDM over Ethernet with E1 to make
as well as receive calls from mobiles or PSTN. And IAX2 trunk runs between
Asterisk and A2Billing. For most of the time they really do a good job. But

chan_iax2.so issues
Hi folks
We've a few problems with a rebuild of one of our asterisk boxes, same
kernel and configs as previously but unfortunately strange iax issues.
If we load chan_iax2 then the system hits 100% CPU, if we do not load
this module then all is well.
I have tried removing the iax.conf and loading the chan_iax2 within the
console and I got an error that included:

Problem with IAX2 Unregistered in the chan_iax2.c and data_pgsql.c file
Hi everyone,
IAX2 softphone is not working with the “Unregistered” part in the asterisk
(chan_iax2.c and data_pgsql.c)
But with the Xlite softphone the unregistered worked properly and ast_data
properly updated the IP address and port number in the database.
I have seen some codes in the chan_iax2.c file:
“ast_verbose(VERBOSE_PREFIX_3 "Unregistered '%s' (%s)\n", p->name,

Hi All,
I'm having a problem after reinstalling the operating system.
Festival works fine for SIP, but when IAX users are calling the same
extension they don't hear the festival and I see the next message on
console:
NOTICE[3996]: chan_iax2.c:2995 iax2_read: I should never be called!
I googled and couldn't find a solution, if somebody can help....

chan_iax2.c problem?
Hi,
I was messing around with FireFly last night and got asterisk to crash
hard. It looks like the bug is a division by zero in chan_iax2.c.
I reproduced it and here are some infos I got from gdb:

chan_iax2.c:5441 socket_read: Rejected connect attempt from
Hi,
I'd like to get URI dialing from iax clients working. If I call Ip directly
(192.168.0.50) it goes straight to from-iax context.
But if I call 200@192.168.0.50 (200 is local extension) then I get upper
message.
Is there any setting that is preventing me for calling that extension (I
know that I will have to do some other dialplan tricks to get it working,
but would like to get past
