2.6.31.6 pv_ops can''t boot pv_ops DomU kernel
Hello, i''ve a xen-4.0.0-rc1 with 2.6.31.6 pv_ops. Dom0 seams to work fine. But i can only boot "old" domU kernel. A pv_ops Kernel hangs after initrd. Hi, We have to servers set up in two different networks. We are able to connect calls via IAX and they work perfectly. We do not see caller ID from clients on either side. Our Grandstream phones say Eri and our XTen phones say Asterisk. We did a debug and I am pasting the output from both servers below. We tried setCallerId in several different ways. We see the value get passed to the

setting callerid not working if no callerid on incoming number
If we get an incoming call I can edit the callerID provided to add the leading '90' and set the name so that sales calls can be identified according to the number called. If however the callerID is unavailable then setting the callerID name or number fails (it shows as unavailable on the phone). This is the call log from such an incoming call without callerID. == Spawn extension (voip,

Problems with NT passwords on samba 2.2.8 and earlier versions.
Hi, To elaborate on the password problem - We are operating in an NT4 environment that is slowly migrating to w2k. We have a number of unix workstations and servers that are running samba to share their disk space to PC users. The PC password policy requires that users change their password at monthly intervals. The samba configuration on all the unix boxes points to an NT4 PDC server for

routing thru tinc
Hi, I setup tinc on two hosts with IP 192.168.200.102 on the first and IP 192.168.200.101 on the second. And it works. Now I would like to route packets thru 192.168.200.101 from 192.168.200.102 by adding the following route: ip route add 10.10.70.0/24 via 192.168.200.101 dev TINCDEVICE However, when I ping 10.10.70.254 from 192.168.200.102, I see the packet being sent to TINCDEVICE (tcmpdump)

How to change it so that it will hangup immediately. >From the asterisk CLI, I am seeing ocalhost*CLI> -- Executing Macro("SIP/6200-70bb", "oneline|SIP/6203") in new stack -- Executing

TDM400P strangeness
Hi List, I have a test asterisk box with a TDM400P with 4 FXO modules plugged in. Yesterday I could use the box without any issues - no problems. This morning, the sound on the box was absolutely horrible. After some fiddling about, I have rebooted the box, and now asterisk refuses to start! Here's the message I get: Jun 9 10:45:53 WARNING[3297]: chan_zap.c:769 zt_open: Unable to

Problem with T100P card in a new chassis
Due to some failed hardware on another platform, I've had to move a T100P card to a different chassis. After this move was completed, I am seeing some strange results on the T100P card that do not display to me any failure mode with which I am familiar. The card comes up, and shows "good" carrier and status, but Asterisk refuses to bring the D-channel up. Calls of course do

Proxying when src and dest on non standard ports
Hello, I want to test dovecot proxying, on a user basis, in a simple set up (proxy, no proxy_maybe and forward the passwd to the remote server). This seem pretty simple except that, in order to test it alongside the production server, I set up 3 servers : . the proxy, listening to pop and imap on non standard ports 9143, 9993, 9110, 9995 . a proxy destination for some users, listening on

Why are LAN ports not standard on UPSs these days?
Hi Phil, I don't have an answer to your question about the lack of LAN ports, but can offer my experience with NUT for a home server environment. I've tended to prefer the Tripp-Lite UPS systems, mainly because I originally felt they did a good job of power filtering. I use a NUT master running on a Raspberry Pi 3 which is easy to maintain and gets current updates via its Debian roots.

As others have mentioned, it probably comes down to cost for a port that is not frequently used. Something to consider is that there are add-on cards with LAN ports for mid- to upper-tier UPSes. Some cards also have
