1.6.2: Using hints on multiple parking lots
Hi, How do I specify to which parking lot the hints refer to? For exemple, on 1.4 I use this to see whether a call is parked in 800: exten => 800,hint,park:800 at parkedcalls But on 1.6 I have multiple parking lots working apparently sucessfully. How do I build the hint for parkinglot1 and parkingloit2 so that my phone , which is subscribing to 800, only see parkinglot1 and

Multiple Parking Lots in Asterisk 1.6.x
I thought 1.6x could have more than 1 parking lot. I have searched high and low and can't find any docs on it, samples or examples. Was I wrong? I need a 2nd parking lot for the sales department and thought I could have a default parking lot at 70 with slots from 71 to 74 and a 2nd one at 75 with slots from 76 to 79. Is this doable?

Asterisk 1.6 and multiple parking
Hi, One of the big features of 1.6 was described as multi-tenant parking. Basically, parking people in different "lots" so the sales dept. could only pick up their calls, and tech support theirs and no mix up was possible. I can only find the original announcement and others asking the same question. Is there some sort of sample conf file of how I would get this functionnal on

Multiple Parking Lots Being Redirected to the Wrong Parking Lot
Hi, I've been trying to set up multiple parking lots using multiple tenants on version 1.8.x (tried all versions including 1.8.4RC2), however calls only park on one parking lot (the top parking lot of the command 'parkedcalls show'). Everything works fine when running on version 1.6.2.17. Currently have a bug opened, but haven't got any updates for over a month.

Multiple parking lots use default park positions
Hello, all. I'm having a deeply frustrating time getting multiple parking lots to work and am wondering what I am doing wrong. I am using Asterisk 1.6.1.1. I defined two separate parking lots in features.conf as follows: [parkinglot_a100] ; SSI context => a100-parking parkpos => 900-920 findslot => next [parkinglot_a10] ; EBC context => a10-parking parkpos => 800-820

multiple parking lot best practice
We are planning to have about 100+ parking lots defined in features.conf , each with about 4 unique park positions. Asterisk will be handling all the parking and unparking (we don't exclusively use Park/ParkedCall in the dialplan): [parkinglot_a] parkpos => 1-4 context=parked [parkinglot_b] parkpos => 5-8 context=parked As far as I can tell, Asterisk adds/removes extensions to the

Call Parking and multiple contexts
Is there any way to define call parking parameters for different contexts? For example, if I have a client in context 100 and another client in context 200, can they both define parking positions, say, from 701-710, where 701 in context 100 is different from 701 in context 200? Or even better, can context 100 define parking positions 701-710 and context 200 define parking positions

I am on version 1.8.x My goal is to be able to do database driven multi-tenant parking lots with out adding sperate entries into Features.conf for each lot. I also need to be able to use the same parking extension pool for each tenant but sand box them into sperate lots. We have been able to do this for every

asterisk call parking + SNOM lighted buttons?
I'm trying to get call parking working with the lighted buttons on the SNOM 200. I have set the 5 buttons to "Park Orbit", for extensions 700-704. Pressing the first button (x700) does park the call. However, the remaining buttons (x701-704) don't allow me to pick up parked calls, or show parking status via the LEDs. I can only pick up parked calling by manually dialing the

Number of parked calls in a parking lot
Is there a way to find out the no of parked calls in a parking lot by name (in a multiple parking lot environment) from within the dialplan (not CLI) other than writing a custom function (like VMCOUNT)? Thanks, Matt -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

2nd Parking Lot
Does anybody know of a way to make another parking lot for version 1.2? We have a multi-tenant setup and it is set for x700 for parking. Well we added some new users and not thinking, we assigned them x700. I can't change the parking number as it will mess up the other users and the new user with x700 doesn't want to change. I was hoping there was some trickery that I can do to create

snom 200 and call parking?
Has anyone used the programmable buttons on the SNOM 200 with Asterisk call parking? Do they work "nicely" together - i.e., do the LEDs show which parking spots are in use, and does the press-to-park button function work? - Mike
