[PATCH 8/9] 00mmd pae compile fix
During tracking down a PAE compile failure, I found that config.h was being included in a bunch of places in i386 code. It is no longer necessary, so drop it. [PATCH] drm/nouveau: gk20a: Fix type of dividend in do_div()
From: Thierry Reding <treding at nvidia.com> The semantics of do_div() are (see include/asm-generic/div64.h): uint32_t do_div(uint64_t *n, uint32_t base) Using a different type will therefore cause the following warning (as seen on xtensa/allmodconfig): CC [M] drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/core/subdev/clock/gk20a.o In file included from arch/xtensa/include/generated/asm/div64.h:1:0,

[PATCHv3 1/2] mm: move use_mm/unuse_mm from aio.c to mm/
Anyone who wants to do copy to/from user from a kernel thread, needs use_mm (like what fs/aio has). Move that into mm/, to make reusing and exporting easier down the line, and make aio use it. Next intended user, besides aio, will be vhost-net. Acked-by: Andrea Arcangeli <aarcange at redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst at redhat.com> --- fs/aio.c |
