Asterisk reltime mode with Postgresql
Hi
I am having problems with Asterisk 1.4.18 and realtime architecture. I use
Postgresql-8.3 as the database.
Everything works OK; all sip phones (their configs are in the database) are
able to register to the server and I can make calls (dialplan is in the
database), but each time Asterisk reads the information from the database it
shows me this on the console:

Error When Using Postgresql Schema With Realtime Sip
I am using asterisk 1.6.1.6 and have been setting up a system to use a
Postgresql database as the realtime DB via the ODBC route. I have got
extensions and voicemail working but am having trouble with SIP
The problem seems to be with using a schema. If I put the table "sip" in
the schema "foo" then I add this entry to extconfig.conf
sippeers => odbc,psqldb,foo.sip

Access postgresql directly from dialplan?
I would like to access a Postgresql database directly from my dialplan
(to lookup names based on callerid numbers for incoming calls). Based on
everywhere I looked - it seems the only way to do this is with
func_odbc. Considering that Asterisk seems to be able to access
Postgresql databases directly using res_pgsql for the purposes of
realtime functionality (without using odbc - if I

PostgreSQL is asterisk friendly with it?
As I look to move our systems to version 1.8 I am looking at making a
change from mySQL to PostgreSQL.
I love mySQL but am getting very concerned about i'ts new owners.
Should I be able to move all my realtime stuff to PostgreSQL is it fully
supported with asterisk?
Is there any down side to PostgreSQL over mySQL or will it be a big win?
Our database servers are linux but we access them

Realtime and PostgreSQL
Has anyone had any luck with PostgreSQL and Realtime? The realtime
instructions on voip-info seem pretty straight forward... just not woking for
me. I've included all of my config files below, and my console output.

Realtime ODBC with cdr_odbc using the same database
I'm currently running a setup that's worked great with MySQL in the
past, but we're migrating to ODBC for when we actually integrate the
system into our current legacy/voip network. The database I'm trying to
use is PostgreSQL, and I've got it working great for Realtime, and if I
use cdr_pgsql for the cdr records. However, if I try to use cdr_odbc

Realtime error - PgSQL with 1.6 beta 5
Hello.
I'm testing the new Asterisk 1.6 beta 5. I'm using realtime to store
extensions and sip users.
When a user logs on, everything works fine - calls are also fine. But I keep
getting these in the console:
[Mar 9 16:31:58] WARNING[10284]: res_config_pgsql.c:195 realtime_pgsql:

Asterisk not starting up due to database problems
When I try and start asterisk I get the following, however I have commented out the data the connections in res_mysql.conf and res_pgsql.conf. I am not sure therefore why I am getting these errors. Do I have to change something else to turn this off?
Thanks

Here's my config:

pjsip_endpoints_v is postgresql view.

realtime table customization to track iax registrations
Hello,
I'm experimenting with Asterisk and MySQL.
Up to know I've just put iax.conf in a MySQL database and it seems to
work: when a Iax2 client registers the corrispondent row in db is
updated. Good.
However when I have many asterisk boxes pointing to the same db a
problem arises: I need an additional column in iax_buddies table called
for example "Asterisk ID" which tells me on
