URGENT: Problems with PHP AGI...
Hello everyone,
I'm having all sorts of problems with my PHP AGI scripts... Basically,
my scripts run fine from the command line and don't do anything well
called from Asterisk. Here are my questions:
a) Does Asterisk require PHP CLI or CGI? From the command line, my
script seems to work fine with PHP 4.3.11 (cli) but not with PHP 4.3.9 (cgi)
b) How to debug my script? According

Found solution to my PHP AGI Script problem...
Dear Moises Silva, Chris Thompson and others,
I've finally managed to find the problem with my PHP AGI script!
Apparently, my machine has 2 versions of PHP installed. One for CGI and
the other for CLI. Without knowing, to hand test my script I was
calling the CLI version (/usr/local/bin/php), whereas Asterisk was
calling the CGI version (/usr/bin/php). It turns out that my script

AGI and AMI in PHP -- What's current?
I'm writing some code that needs to access AMI in PHP. (I'll probably be
doing AGI later as well.)
I'm looking at phpagi (2.20), but it hasn't been updated since 2010 and
appears to be a bit behind current Asterisk -- No event handler for event
'fullybooted'.
What PHP framework/library are you using -- and why?

AGI and Severe Weather Alerts
All,
I am toying with an idea of using an AGI to be able to 'call'
my phone, or phones, in case of severe weather warnings. I have been
tinkering with a script that reads from weather underground for the
forecast, based off a PHP version of a weather AGI I found on the net.
It seems rather trivial to have the AGI as a script, that does nothing
unless a condition is met, and

Explain AGI and AMI
Hi,
Can anyone explain the difference between Asterisk Gateway Interface and
Asterisk Management Interface ?
Is it correct to consider AGI scope to focus on call handling and AMI scope
to anything which can be done with Asterisk froma loading new modules to
originating calls ?
Regards

agi voicemail callback
I'm wondering if there is a simply way to perform a voicemail callback
feature using AGI.
For instance, a caller leaves a voicemail, the voicemail will then call the
owner of the voicemailbox determined by a database look up.

how to join 2 channels using AGI/AMI
this is the point, and the strange thing:
DTMF is set to rfc2833, but is working both on incoming and outgoing calls,
it is not working only on calls generated with the Originate AMI command,
or with the queue member that point to Local dialplan, as you suggested

Asterisk Manager Interface (AMI) proxy recommendation
Hello there,
I'm new to Asterisk and I'm trying to figure out a way to make the
Asterisk Manager Interface (AMI) accessible to multiple users at the
same time. Would anyone recommend an AMI proxy that could be accessed
from PHP code?
Thanks in advance,

Is there a right place for a include_once statement in a PHP AGI script?
Hello there,
I'm new to PHP AGIs and I'm having problems with a particular script
that has a "include_once" statement on it. If I remove that stament,
the script runs until the section of the code that depends on the
include and then returns. If I include that statement, the script does
not seem to run at all. What shall I do?
Thanks in advance,
Leo

Any api (agi/ari/ami) equivalent of "core show calls"?
Wow! I've been *-ing for about 6 years and had literally no idea about
that!
I can see a way I could put it to a different use, but it seems to be a bit
of a sledgehammer to crack the walnut of "how many current callers"
compared to one line of (albeit hacky) dialplan.
That's making me sound ungrateful. I don't mean to be!

AMI + AGI for outbound click to dial
Hey Gang,
Trying to figure out how I can do the following (have each part working
individually but drawing a blank on combining)
1) click on-screen which sends an AMI originate (works fine)
2) the originated call is to an internal extension that looks up the number
to be dialed (works)
3) then via Perl, adding in a SIPAddHeader for answer-after=0.. (works
separate from the above)

[1.4/AGI] CHANNEL STATUS never "down & available"?
Hello
I'm using an AGI script in Lua to make a callback through Zaptel.
For this to work, I must wait until the channel is idle, or I get this
kind of error, even after waiting over 10 seconds after the remote end
rings once and hangs up:
==============
channel.c:2863 __ast_request_and_dial: Unable to request channel

How to run a remote PHP script and still have access to audio stream?
Hello there,
I'm trying to figure out how to run a PHP script on a remote machine and
still have access to the audio stream associated with the call.
Ideally, I'd love to play/record audio files directly from/to the remote
server without having to copy them back and forth to the Asterisk
server. What is the best way to do this?
Is it possible to combine EAGI with FastAGI in PHP?

Where can I find instructions on how to install PHPAGI?
BTW, what's the difference between PHPAGI and PHPAGI2? Are they

Billing/Call Control engine : AGI scripts/ AstMan API
Hello ppl,
Have implemented a really nice Billing engine using AGI scripts. So far
it works fine, tho haven't yet put it in the torture cell.
The AGI scripts have been written in PHP, using MySQL for the billing
and profile information.
The major disadvantages I see using AGI scripts :
1. A new process(invocation of PHP scripts) on every new call.
2. MySQL connections on every instance of
