bristuff-0.4.0-RC4-xr7
I am following the guide here:
http://updates.xorcom.com/astribank/bristuff/1.4/bristuff-current/INSTALL.html
for installing bristuff on a CentOS5.11 box (stock 2.6.18-398.el5.i686).
Whilst building zaptel I get the error as follows:

florz patch for bristuff breaks compile on x86_64?
After upgrading a CentOS 3.x box to CentOS 4.1 (both x86_64 with an
Athlon64) I also wanted to get the latest bristuff. Unfortunately
bristuff without florz causes the box to kernel panic within hours
(console will complain about bad frame received something).
It seems however that the florz patch will not work for x86_64 arch.
Bristuff -0.2.0-RC8j compiles fine without the florz patch, but

bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n problems and kernel panic
Hi list!
On a newly installed RHEL 4 box I'm trying to install bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n.
Everything did compile but I am running into some problems with the zaphfc
driver.
First of all when I load zaphfc *before* zaptel (yes I know I shouldn't do
that) I get a kernel panic and the box hangs. Not so nice, especially when
you are trying to fix stuff from remote locations. But ok.

Bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q and & florz patch compile trouble
Again trouble compiling bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q with the florz patch on a
x86_64 box (I guess nobody is using x86_64 platform or is able to fix this
themselves?)
First of all when bristuff is downloaded and compile is started it appears
that the bristuff Makefiles are badly broken.
The asterisk Makefiles all do see to find the kernel sources on a RHEL4
box in the proper directory, the pure

install BRIstuff on *@home?
I'm still trying to install a HFC-s BRI card onto *@home .6
I'm new to this so I probably am overlooking the obvious.
Can I just install BRIstuff onto a fresh *@home install?
The BRIstuff installer downloads another * from Digium. Will this interfere with the @home install and must I comment out the Asterisk install in the BRIstuff install.sh file?
Any pointers are much appreciated.

Beronet BN4S0 (quad BRI) card, echo cancel, zaptel timing, bristuff ...
Hi,
I guess I'd need to run Beronet quad and octo bri cards under bristuff to
get zaptel features (echo canceling, timing source).... Am I right or could
I achieve this also with chan_misdn - their native driver ?
Running bristuff on Beronet cards is unsupported. Has anyone succesfully run
Beronet quad BRI cards under bristuff recently ? Do they work ?
Regards,
Rob.

Asterisk 1.2.17 and BRIstuff
Hi All,
I'm using Asterisk 1.2.17 and I would like to install BRIstuff. Problem is
that current version of BRIstuff is for Asterisk 1.2.14.
BRIstuff 0.3.0-PRE-1y (* 1.2.14)
If I'm misunderstanding how to apply patches for 1.2.17?
Thank you in advance,

beronet & bristuff
Hi.
I'm trying to get a Beronet QuadBRI card work with bristuff drivers.
Though qozap module loads right, all card spans are in deactivated
status. I'm quite sure my configuration is correct and using a single
BRI card instead of the quadBRI the status is active and I can place and
receive calls.
On Beronet installation manual I read that Beronet and Junghanns cards
are identical in

Bristuff with 2.6.19
Hello,
I am trying to install bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1x.tar.gz on debian with kernel
2.6.19.2 and I've got some errors connected with XPP. I was wondering
if somebody managed to install bristuff with this kernel or any kind
of kernel 2.6.19. The bristuff mentioned above contains zaptel 1.2.10 not
1.2.12.

bristuff patches and realtime mysql
Hi!
I have a problem compiling the res_config_mysql.so after successfully
compiling and installing asterisk with the bristuff package/patches. I
get lots of compiler errors.
When inserting a previously compiled res_config_mysql.so into the
bristuff-patched Asterisk, I get an error on startup and Asterisk
crashes.
Anyone using res_config_mysql.so with the bristuff package and can help
me?
Thanks,

ISDN Bridging with Bristuff
Hello,
I tried to read Bristuff source code to understand the way calls are bridged from one BRI port to another (as HFC cards have "active channel switching capability").
Doing so I looked at zaphfc.c file which seems to be the only .c file constituting bristuff but I may be wrong I'm far from being an expert on this.
I found 4 functions (hfc_btrans, hfc_brec, hfc_dtrans,

Re: BRI cards, HFC, and bristuff - a general questionto clear up my understanding.
Does anyone test Asterisk 1.2.X + bristuff-0.3.X and TDM card? We can't
get it to work.

MoH trouble with latest bristuff (0.3.0-PRE-1f)
Hi,
I've installed * 1.2.1 with latest bristuff patches (0.3.0-PRE-1f). When
I activate music-on-hold on a SIP-to-SIP connection, the music sounds
like in a fast-forward play mode. On the *-console I can see much lines
like this:
-- Silence suppression is disabled (option_silence_suppression=0
chan->timingfd=18)
What's going on? With bristuff 0.3.0-PRE-1d everything works fine (but

bristuff/zaphfc disturbing other ISDN phones
I have ISDN BRI line (Point-to-multipoint), with HFC card and
bristuff/zaphfc driver.
I also have TA attached to NT, with analog phones and modem on it.
When I'm dialling through Asterisk/bristuff, and in the same time TA
have some conversation (or maybe modem link) on channel 1, I can hear
that conversation (or modem) very short period (0.2sec), and I also
disturbing that conversation
