similar to: Disable echo canceller Fonebridge

I hope someone can help me out with this issue. It has been dogging me for months and I can't seem to get it to go away. I have a Rhino Ceros box running Asterisk 1.4.21.2 connected via eth0 (nVidia MCP61 Ethernet) to a RedFone FoneBRIDGE2 dual-port with EC. The FB is the latest hardware rev and the latest firmware. I'm running the latest fonulator version and I'm running Zap-1.4.11

Hey guys, I am trying to diagnose a hum in my FXO lines I am using an Adtran 750 with 8 FXO ports. I am getting a pretty bad hum on the line during a call. I have checked the Telco side of the 66 block and there is no hum there so it's my problem to fix. I have tried to lower the gain but that reduces the call volume to much. I am looking for input on wether the 4 port T-1 foneBridge is a useful device in a asterisk deployment. Would it be better to loadup a extra asterisk server to trunk the T-1's via IAX or is TDMoE safe in production enviroments. Hello, I'm trying to decide between the foneBRIDGE2 ($1135) and foneBRIDGE2-EC ($1610). Has anyone here directly compared the two? Would we really suffer without the onboard echo cancellation? Hello everyone. I've got a HFC ISDN card that I'm using with chan_misdn and it basically behaves like crap. Echo is waaay worst then echo I get TDM400 card, sound is "choppy" (there other side is allays complaining about sound interruptions) and to top it all it detects fake DTMF's all the time. Is this a chan_misdn problem or is it a card problem? I really need to get

hello jean-marc and everybody, I keep getting no results when trying to use speex_echo_capture, speex_echo_playback and speex_echo_cancel in a multi-threaded application, as suggested in the manual. Though, the cancellation works properly when i use a file with human voice for far-end input and the same file with echo added in SoundForge for mic input. When i try to insert and remove silence
