I had already checked these files (smb.conf, krb5.conf, hosts) and they match each other, but the error still appears... Is there anything else I can check? Samba 4.2 domain member fails to access files
Hi everybody, 1 of 3 mostly identical domain members gives me NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED and I fail to debug this. But what's even weirder is the workaround I found by chance. I got 4 servers, all running Debian's Samba 4.2.10. 1 is a classic NT4 domain controller, the other 3 are joined as domain members. Their configuration is practically identical. The PDC uses an smbpasswd backend.

Samba 4.2 domain member fails to access files
Can be you have a few wrong entries in /var/lib/samba/private/idmap.ldb. Look for the objectSID of the affected users and compare xid to the desired uid. Also run "net cache flush" to get caching out of the way. achim~ Am 25.04.2016 um 21:52 schrieb Andreas Schamanek: > Hi everybody, 1 of 3 mostly identical domain members gives me > NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED and I fail to debug

AD attibutes of the (in this case) member servers differences.
Hai,   Im setting up a new proxy with winbind en kerberos auth. So far everything ok but now im setting up my nfsv4 (with automount with systemd) for my user login on that server.   For the new setup i compaired my old proxy with my new proxy. I noticed the old proxy is missing some attibutes in the AD object.   For example, Samba member1 ( installed as 4.3.x ) upgraded to 4.5.3 here

pivot table help
Hello R-users, I've got a huge table with about 20.00 rows and 50 columns. The table now has headers as Members1, Members2 etc. My data are 8 different individuals. And I've got a column with clusters. So each individual belongs to different clusters and can occurs multiple times within a cluster (that's the reason that there can be more than 8 members). I want a presence/ absence

I loose incoming call after transfer
Hello list. An incoming call goes to the queue. Then is routed to a free SIP-member1. When this SIP-member1 transfers the call to another SIP-member2, and this SIPmember-2 rejects the call, then the communication is lost. How can I make the call go back to the SIP-member1 ? Or maybe back to the queue ? To transfer we use the 'transfer'-button on the Grandstream/YeaLink IP-phone.

app_queue problem with Ringing state
Hi, This is the output from queue show 28: 47 (DAHDI/g0/12345678) (realtime) (Ringing) has taken no calls yet Why is the devicestate "Ringing" when no channels is calling this number, and the queue says "has taken no calls yet"? Is it picking up the general state of a random channel on g0 in dahdi? Or what is happening? It only seems to happen with this particular
