Asterisk 1.4 or 1.6 automated install script for CentOS 5.3 or 5.4
Hi Guys, Other than than yum repository (which fails when installing freepbx with it) are there any automated install scripts out there that would install Asterisk 1.6 or 1.4 onto a CentOS LAMP system? If the script install FreePBX that would be a BONUS. Thanks, Bruce -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

[Infra announce] : Speeding-up yum updates from inside AWS/EC2
Tomorrow, I intend to push a change to mirrorlist.centos.org nodes that will have a (good) impact to CentOS EC2 instances running from AWS network. Thanks to AWS, sponsoring the required backend infra for this to happen, our mirrorlist nodes will redirect yum/dnf operations internally in the EC2/AWS network. What does that mean for you ? - faster updates (due to Cloudfront caching, and so most

Asterisk16 - PJSIP - Error 401 on outbound registration
Hi all, we face a strange behavior while connecting an Asterisk16 instance with PJSIP to 2 providers: we receive error 401 Unauthorized, both of them having Kamailio as front-end. With other providers -we don't know if they run kamailio- registration is just fine. One of the provider took a pcap and told us that expiration was set to 0 that's why they don't accept the

Fedora Core 3 or Fedora Core 4? yum update o r not? also: SpanDSP -pre25 for 1.0.9 is out w00t!
Word. I'm doing a dupe of my production server this week as a CYA. Guess what: FC2. Once I yum update to the current kernel, no more yum. There's no reason to. You may have your own reasons (publicly avaliable server, for example) but why add uncertainty to an, at best, quite uncertain process (that of creating a stable Asterisk install given random hardware, network conditions, PSTN

But the yum configuration doesn''t apply at all to one node even tho it does to another identically configured node. ## packages are failing to install via yum on one ec2 aws instance and another identical ec2 instance works fine [root@kromep2 ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release CentOS release 5.5 (Final)
