Unable to compile R 3.1.3 under GCC 4.1.2 (Red Hat 4.1.2-51)
Hi all,
I'm unable to compile R under an HPC system (which like many HPC systems
doesn't always have the latest and greatest software). The version of
GCC is 4.1.2 under CentOS 5.7. Running ./configure gives the following
output:
R is now configured for x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
Source directory: .
Installation directory: /home/tbarik
C compiler: gcc

Newsleecher
Hi,
has anybody gotten newsleecher (www.newsleecher.com) to work under wine?
I am not sure if my wine is not configured properly or if newsleecher is
incompatible. Installation went fine, but whenever I try to run
newsleecher wine just hangs in the shell and nothing happens.
Latest version of wine (downloaded today)
Newsleecher v2 beta 3
and Newsleecher v1.0 Final (none of them worked)

recently moved to 1.1.25, no wine-pthread command
I have done some reading and gather than wine-pthread was dropped somewhere around 1.1.19.
Problem I have is that I have an application (newsleecher) which effectively never starts up (gave it 10 minutes at one point, used 100% cpu the whole time) with strait wine command on the older wine version, I think 1.0.something, came with ubuntu 8.04 in one of the unsupported repositories. It starts up

subnet-up invocations
Hello,
I'm confused by the subnet-up calls made by tinc. I was assuming that
I'd be called once when it connects to another node. However, subnet-up
appears to be called much more often than that.
For example, I have the following configuration:

2. gluster volume heal <volname> info summary or gluster volume heal

Virtual servers for 2 workgroup

My config: Samba 2.2.3 & Linux Debian Testing kernel 2.4.20
There are two network cards on my pc :
-one links to the network R1 (138.231.121.12)
-one links to the network R2 (192.168.0.1)

[LLVMdev] LLVM development in Xcode
In trying to set up a LLVM development environment, CMake seemed "too easy" - cmake <srctree>. No configuration options necessary whatsoever. But it worked, at least for Xcode on MacOS and for Visual Studio on Windows. Builds were successful. I have not tried running any of the output yet, though, since I don't yet have a front-end set up.

Error transferring domaindns role [SEC=UNOFFICIAL]

I currently have two DCs, one temporary and one permanent. Both running Samba 4.10.4 on Centos 7
I tried to transfer the roles from the temporary (julius) to the permanent (titus).
rid, schema, pdc, naming & infrastructure transferred without error.
However when I tried to transfer the domaindns role (-U administrator), I got the old

I originally installed samba-4.1.7 on CentOS 6.5. I successfully joined the domain. I intended to take over from the 2003 server but because the domain was being heavily used, I delayed seizing the roles.
Now I really, really want to replace the 2003 server. The network is currently not in use and I want to complete the job while I have an opportunity. If I

Thank you for your reply. The heal is still undergoing, as the /var/log/glusterfs/glustershd.log keeps growing, and there's a lot of pending entries in the heal info.
The gluster version is 3.10.9 and 3.10.10 (the version update in progress). It doesn't have info summary [yet?], and the heal info is way too long to attach here. (It takes more than 20 minutes just to collect

order of panels in xyplots
I'd like do a simple xyplot with customized order of panels and try to
understand how to use index.cond for that. Several attempts didn't
deliver the correct results. Now, I noticed the following:

Apart from what probably is a bad assumption in the code, does it actually
present a problem ? Meaning, even though it indicates 100% cpu usage, does
it slow down your machine
