H&R Block Tax cut with wine
I purchased H&R Block Tax cut Deluxe to do my 2004 taxes.
I decided to give The Feb 2005 version of Wine under Fedora 1 a try
before rebooting my machine to Windows and actually starting to work on my
taxes.
Wine seemed to install Tax Cut with out any problems.
However, when I tried to start Tax Cut 2004 , it complained that Mozilla did
not have an
active X Browser and offered to go on

Project "Muncher" the next step in wine
Ok, It's a lame name but it was the best I could come up with after
spinning around in a desk chair for a few minutes. Here is the general
idea behind it.
Once, in an interview, Steve Balmber, the CEO of Microsoft threw some
standard MS FUD out about Linux being a poor choice becaue each distro
tends to "mutate" linux and has no solid direction
I thought "Wouldn't

Possible VFS KPI and KBI breakage on stable/7
There are three sets of changes that would benefit stable/7.
Namely, there are
1. Improvements for the UFS unmount or rw->ro remount, that perform
suspension during the operation.
The changes depend on the the suspension mechanism path,
that introduced the suspension owner, and added new VFS OP
into the mount method table.
This might also fix the hangs with gjournal or

[PATCH -tip RFC v2 00/22] kprobes: introduce NOKPROBE_SYMBOL() and general cleaning of kprobe blacklist
Currently the blacklist is maintained by hand in kprobes.c
which is separated from the function definition and is hard
to catch up the kernel update.
To solve this issue, I've tried to implement new
NOKPROBE_SYMBOL() macro for making kprobe blacklist at
build time. Since the NOKPROBE_SYMBOL() macros can be placed
right after the function is defined, it is easy to maintain.

VB, Access based program on Linux
Hi,
I work in one public charitable trust. Here we are using one
Accounting+Inventory+Report management Program. Two developers have
developed in VB, Access and Crystal Reports.
Now I am trying to use it through wine on linux. (As we dont have enough
money to redevelop that.)
But after running that .exe I am getting error that ActiveX Component can
not create object. 429

[LLVMdev] Instruction Encodings in TableGen
I'm starting to look into binary instruction encodings in TableGen, and I'm
a bit confused on how the instruction fields are populated. Perhaps I'm
just being dense, but I cannot see how SDAG operands are translated into
the encoding fields. Can someone please explain the following snippet from
the PPC back-end.
The AND instruction in PPC is defined as:
