AstriCon videos: a question of method (Robin)
Robin,
Thanks for the viddler.com suggestion! I'm uploading all of the ClueCon
videos to it right now.
John, so far I'd have to give viddler.com two thumbs up. I'm adding my stuff
here:
http://www.viddler.com/explore/cluecon
Your ClueCon presentation should show up some time on Friday. I've noticed
that there's a little bit of a lag time between upload and video being

Astricon talk on wideband codecs
I missed the talk that was given on wideband codecs @ astricon last week.
I tried to lookup the speaker on astricon.net, but that website seems
horribly broken at the moment, showing only a tmcnet video, whatever
page i click on.
Would somebody have the contact details for that speaker ?
Greetings,
Zoa

Open Source Pavilion at AstriCon: Your project wanted!
Each year at AstriCon, we have an Open Source Pavilion which showcases
projects which are adjuncts to Asterisk, or which are directly
relevant to improving the utility and features of Asterisk. It gives
smaller projects the chance to have some space to display what they're
doing, and to give demonstrations to the AstriCon attendees who are
interested in some of the things happening

AstriCon Videos and Presentations: First batch is on-line!
This year we recorded quite a few of the AstriCon sessions - 3 out of
the 4 tracks were video taped. The folks at TMC then went through a
fairly painstaking process of synchronizing the video presentations to
the slide decks that each presenter provided, so we have an index-able
and fast-forward-able version of each talk. I'm really excited about
this video presentation method,

If you are referring to AstriCon 2019 there was no filming of sessions. I
did record my own, though, about PJSIP[1].

streaming theora in flash
Hi,
I managed to get my own FLV videos working over the web:
http://certik.github.com/record/
it plays in the opensource flash player (flowplayer), but I have to
convert theora to FLV (you can use the script in the package above).
My question is, does anyone know if it's possible to get theora itself
working? I know firefox3.5 will be able to do it, but I am afraid that
will be the only

[OT] Playing mp4's on centos httpd
Sorry for the off topic, but hoping someone here can point me in a
direction and end my endless googling... I have some mp4 training videos
that our users need to be able to download or stream directly to their
browser.
I have the h.264 module loaded on httpd on centos (using
http://swimminginthought.com/streaming-mp4-video-webserver-solved/#).
So I think I have most of the infrastructure in

Last call for AstriCon talks
AstriCon in Washington DC is only 102 days away! October 26-28 -
slightly over three months - time is flying. The early bird discount
($595 for the whole conference) runs out next week - see if you can
get in under the wire!
The final selection of AstriCon talks is under way. If you've been
intending to submit your talk and you missed the June 30 deadline...
well, you're late.

gpg can't decrypt message
Hey guys,
Having a little gpg issue I was wondering if someone could help me with.
A friend of mine sent me an encrypted message. So I searched online and
found a a set of keys that correspond with his email address. And imported
them. But when I go to decrypt the message, this is what I get:
[root at ops:~] #gpg --decrypt roger-message
gpg: encrypted with 2048-bit RSA key, ID 9617EA5C,

Euro LLVM videos finally online - proposal to use torrents for sharing
It's no magic, to get good download speed with torrents you need many
seeders or few seeders with high bandwidth.
I'm not sure LLVM videos will attract enough interest for many seeders to
be online... The easy solution would be to have a LLVM channel with all
videos on Youtube which has high qualty CDN.

If possible, please share the videos on other medium ( youtube etc.)

Videos from past Dev meetings gone?
Are the videos another casualty of the server move?
Following the links down to a video to here:
http://llvm.org/devmtg/2014-10/Videos/Adding%20and%20Optimizing%20a%20Subtarget%20for%20MIScheduler-720.mov
Sends me to a dead link.
Do we know when this is expected to work again?
