I have searched all over the web and have not really found anything

1.4.26.1, 1.6.0.13, 1.6.1.4
Folks,
I've scoured the website and googled, but can't find a definitive answer:
What's the difference?
OK, the site says 1.4.26.1 is latest stable.
Site also says 1.6.2.0-beta4 is latest beta.
So what are the others?
TIA,
David A. Bandel

IAX2 order
Folks,
I've been fighting with this seems like forever now and can't make it
work in 1.6.x. In 1.4.x, I could make sure a particular voip provider
was always first in the list by making him as an #include and putting
it last.
Now in 1.6.x I can never get this to take. I really don't want to run
TWO asterisk servers just for some IAX trunking.
Real problem: my voip provider

Realtime and PostgreSQL
Has anyone had any luck with PostgreSQL and Realtime? The realtime

Asterisk 1.6.1.6 crashing -- multiple phone entries
Folks,
Not sure what's going on, but suddenly Asterisk 1.6.1.6 is crashing,
usually when I exit the console or use asterisk -rx. The sip peers
entry always shows duplicate entries (once I had an extension over
half a dozen times) just before it crashes.

AMI Originate Commands executed in sequential Order problem
Hi,
I noticed that asterisk manager interface will only accept the originate
commands in sequential order. For example, if I want to ring two extensions
through the AMI, and while first extension is ringing, AMI won't execute and
ring second extension until first extension has answered the call.
Anybody has any ideas as I had the same results even tested with telnet
commands to AMI interface.

Installing cdr_pgsql on asterisk 1.6.0.26
Hi folks,
I am struggling to install cdr_pgsql in asterisk 1.6.0.26. When I do the
./configure, it complains about the function PQescapeStringConn not
existing in -lpq, so when I do a make menuconfig, I can't select the
cdr_pgsql module.
I am using CentOS 5.4 with the yum PGDG repository for 8.4 version. Some
of the installed packages are postgresql-libs, compat-postgresql-libs,

Parse-Error creates strange function calls (completely different printouts) (PR#13436)
Full_Name: Oliver Bandel
Version: R version 2.7.1 (2008-06-23)
OS: Linux (Debian Lenny)
Submission from: (NULL) (88.73.82.147)
Hello,
I have written a small R-script.
When I inserted one line of code, the behaviour was completely different!
Instead of just printing one line more to the output,
the complete call of the function in which this line was added,
is different, and instead of one such

From time-strings to Unix-Epoche-time?
Hello,
I have strings with date-/time-data from a logfile.
For a sort-by-time (and other time-related analysis)
I need something to convert the
times to the Unix-epoche-time (better also with parts
of seconds).
Is there something that does that job (or a similar conversion)
in R?
TIA,
Oliver Bandel

chan_sccp bug / problem
Hi list!
I'm having some problems with chan_sccp and a Kirk IP600. Basically the
handsets work (they emulate a Cisco 7940) but I have the following issues:
1. If a handset is in a conversation and there is a new incoming call,
the incoming audio is muted (but the other party can still hear anything
spoken on the handset). What is normal Asterisk behaviour, that a handset
is left alone
