Kashyap: I have not tried integrating your guest xml but I will look over it today when I get a chance. Thank you. Martin: Below is the output from /proc/cpuinfo. Let me know if there is anything else that would be helpful in debugging this. Identifying proper CPU type
Hi, I've been working on trying to figure out why my virtual machine keeps crashing when I don't believe I have a hardware problem, and I believe I might know why. As I'm relatively new to this, I believe I may have misconfigured the XML file to try and maximize the CPU features that are available to the guest from the host. I have an Intel Xeon E3-1240 3.3Ghz quad-core. How can I

I have a lot of this errors in my Centos stock 4.3 version in an Intel D945gnt motherboard with a Pentium D (dual core) and kernel 2.6.9-34.ELsmp If I disable apic in the grub.conf (apic=off) will I get a performance hit? Im running Asterisk on that machine. 40 is Received Illegal Vector 20 is Send Illegal Vector 60 means you're getting both errors at the same time. Basically it means that

Test failed!!
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hi Jesus, Thanks for the report. As far as I can tell, what's happening is that when intrinsics are enabled, we compile all tests with -msse4.1, even when it's only run-time detected. In most cases, that doesn't cause any issue, but sometimes the compiler will take the C code and generate an SSEx instruction on its own. I think this is
