Need to find small footprint asterisk platform
Hey all, I have a potential project which calls for a very small form-factor computer like this: http://www.marvell.com/products/embedded_processors/developer/kirkwood/sheevaplug.jsp However, I am needing an FXS port integrated into a small footprint computer. Nothing larger than a WiFi router or gateway device, but the smaller the better, and able to run Asterisk with at least a spare USB port

Hello everyone, I just ordered one of these: http://www.marvell.com/products/embedded_processors/developer/kirkwood/sheevaplug.jsp Just over $110 with shipping but they are expecting the price to come down quite a bit: - 1.2Ghz ARM5 - 512MB RAM - Multiple flash storage options - Gigabit ethernet - USB 2.0 - 5 watt power usage They probably won't be shipping until late March but I

Problems getting Dovecot to work.
Hi, having a nightmare trying to get dovecot working on my SheevaPlug (flash based ARM embedded device). I need to use virtual users, and I need to store all the mail on an external USB HDD (not in home directories which live in the limited flash space). However I can't even log in via telnet. I've followed the Wiki troubleshooting tips, and still no further forward. logging via telnet, I

[LLVMdev] Assuring ARM code quality in LLVM
Hi all, I was recently investigating the build bot infrastructure and noticed that the arm-linux target is failing for quite a long time. I believe that it means ARM code is not executed all that often in LLVM tests, is that correct? We were wondering what kind of support we could give to make sure ARM code is correct and don't regress, specially before releases (I know it's a bit late

'Bad authorization' error with Asterisk 1.8
Hello! I have compiled Asterisk 1.8.1.1 on my SheevaPlug. It works all right for me, except for one problem that I have encountered: I can only register a SIP client (X-Lite in my case) if the secret field of the extension is left blank. Otherwise it throws a 'bad auth' error. Does anybody have any clue? -- Arik Goldfeld -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Possible buglet (wart ?) of odfWeave 0.7.6 (with workaround)
Dear List, I have had problems inserting some (not all !) figures via odfWeave (using print(someLatticeFunction)...). The figure was correctly displayed in a R device window but the resulting ODF document displayed the correct space for the figure and an empty frame with a "broken image" icon and a "read error" mention. Exploration of the odf (.odt, in my case) file showed

Large jumps in dovecot-uidlist
Since upgrading to Debian Wheezy I have been observing large jumps in the value stored in dovecot-uidlist. The effect of these jumps is to confuse some mail clients (Thunderbird, Opera Mail) causing them not to display messages from a (random?) point in time onwards in the affected folder. I have been unable to determine the root cause of these jumps. What I do know: 1. I never observed the

long delay between "Ring Begin" and "SIP/XXX is ringing"
hi all, i have an asterisk install with a digium 4 port fxo card and cisco 7960 sip phones -- running on a compaq Pentium III (Coppermine) at 800Mhz 256KB cache and 1GB of ram. when a call comes in on zap/1-1 for example, the delay between when zap sees the line going to ring state, and when the desktop telephone rings can be as long as 7000 milliseconds (or about 3 or 4 rings on an ear piece).

Illegal instruction: 4 (core dumped) when running testparm & [sn]mbd with default config
I'm running FreeBSD 8 on a Sheevaplug (ARM5 processor) I compiled and installed Samba 3.3.9 from ports using defaults and defaults for dependencies. I left the smb.conf file untouched, ran testparm and immediately received the coredump. The same happens running smbd and nmbd. Can anyone help me resolve? http://old.nabble.com/file/p26879957/testparm.core.gz testparm.core.gz -- View this

Zaptel FXO offhook when connected to PSTN
I installed Trixbox and a TDM400P with 2 FXO and 2 FXS ports and am having an annoying issue with the FXO ports. As soon as I plug either one into the phone line it's as though the line is disconnected i.e. get disconnected tone when trying to dial out, line is busy when dialling in. The CLI shows the following: trixbox1*CLI> zap show channel 4 Channel: 4 File Descriptor: 18 Span: 11*

Asterisk on a Beagleboard?
Hello Out of curiosity, has someone managed to run Asterisk on a Beagleboard for home-use? www.beagleboard.org As an alternative to a PC, it can be powered from a USB hub, so that would make for a compact, fanless Asterisk server. Thank you.

RBS T1 DID issue
Howdy, New installation, trying to connect an RBS T1 with AMI/D4 framing and E&M Wink. Using a Sangoma A102d and asterisk 1.4.22-2 on Centos5 (Trixbox 2.6.2.1). Outbound calls work fine, but inbound calls fail to read the DID information, and with debug set to 10 I get the following: [Feb 2 19:40:23] DEBUG[25184] chan_zap.c: Monitor doohicky got event Wink/Flash on channel 3 [Feb 2

Need precisions on --detect-rename
Hi all, I am reading everything I can find (including this mailling list archives) for the last 2 weeks, on how to handle moved and/or renamed files with rsync. I would have preferred to use an unmodified rsync, and I think I could make it for the ?moved files? with a 3 steps process like this : 1- rsync -avz --delete --backup --backup-dir=$TEMP_BACKUP --existing --ignore-existing

[LLVMdev] build failure on ARM linux
Why is his configure not catching this? It tests for the linkability of these functions on the target arch, and should be detecting their absence if that is actually the case. --Owen On Jul 1, 2009, at 12:50 AM, Xerxes RĂ„nby wrote: > llvm/lib/System/Atomic.cpp contains the call to > __sync_val_compare_and_swap that lowers to the missing > __sync_val_compare_and_swap_4 GCC

Digium AEX410, MTNL Mumbai Caller-ID problems
Hi, Continuing with the saga of Digium vs MTNL Mumbai, looking for suggestions on handling incoming Caller-ID issues. The card manages to grab a couple of (random) digits of the incoming CID, but they're more or less useless. Is there any way to fix this?
