Logging into queue homed off remote system
Greetings all, I have an interesting problem I am trying to work around.
I currently have 2 * servers running in separate offices, using IAX2 to trunk between them, and queues in our main office. I'll call them Office_A and Office_B. I use Polycom 501s with a primary and secondary server, the primary being whichever server is local to them. What I'm finding is that when a user logs into

Realtime via ODBC breaks for Voicemail
Hi all,
We have an asterisk installation here that uses realtime for voicemails
through ODBC. It works very well except that every now and then (ie
four or five days or so) it breaks. I have included a log from the CLI
of the most recent break, it looks like this:
---------------- Start of output

Asterisk Voicemail with ODBC Realtime Access
Hi
I was trying to have realtime voicemail working with ODBC Driver.
Everything works fine with MySQL Realtime access, BUT as I want to implement
ODBC Storage as well, it seems that everything should go through ODBC ( what
I read on voip-info wiki page )
But I do not manage to make it work with ODBC.
Outside Asterisk, ODBC works fine, I can access my databases & tables !

Asterisk Realtime with ODBC/MySql
We are testing Asterisk Realtime configuration with ODBC/MySql.
This is our extconfig.xonf

In the extension.conf we have inserted this line:
switch => Realtime/mainmenu@extensions
where mainmenu is the context.
and in the table 'extensions' we have this line:

Realtime ODBC with cdr_odbc using the same database
I'm currently running a setup that's worked great with MySQL in the
past, but we're migrating to ODBC for when we actually integrate the
system into our current legacy/voip network. The database I'm trying to
use is PostgreSQL, and I've got it working great for Realtime, and if I
use cdr_pgsql for the cdr records. However, if I try to use cdr_odbc

Realtime Postgres via ODBC
I am running unixODBC to connect to postgres for your realtime data for
things like call forwarding, dnd and have noticed a significant delay
when running the realtime application. Has anyone else encountered this?
Even from the CLI if I do "realtime load cf_data exten 4501" it lags for
almost 2 full seconds before I get the result set back.
Queries directly to the database from

pjsip realtime registrations not pulling from ODBC
I have a pjsip install that is not pulling it's realtime registrations from
an ODBC database.
When I have them directly pull from a MySQL database everything seems to
work.
I am having trouble finding a requirements document for the pjsip realtime
registrations.
Is there some kind of special config that has to be used to trigger the
connection for realtime registrations over ODBC?

realtime odbc queue member cache problem
Hello,
I have asterisk 1.6.0.1. I'm using realtime asterisk with MS SQL.
Everything is OK, but I have noticed strange thing with queue members. If I
modify just 'membername' - asterisk do not refresh this info. But if I make
changes also in 'interface' column, and after executing command `queue show
my-queue` and I see changes.
So is it possible that asterisk after

odbc realtime update problem
I'm experimenting with realtime (CVS HEAD), but using odbc to a
third-party database (progress) instead of mysql.
Following the instructions on voip-info, I created a table for voicemail
called rtvm with the following fields:
CREATE TABLE `rtvm` (
`uniqueid` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
`customer_id` int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
`context` varchar(50) NOT NULL default

Asterisk Realtime and ODBC
Hello all!
My basic problem is that we haven't been able to get realtime to use ODBC to
store configuration data. Here are the details:
We've installed Asterisk on a CentOS machine as follows:
1. Downloaded, compiled, and installed FreeTDS 0.63
2. Downloaded, compiled, and installed unixODBC 2.2.11
3. Downloaded, compiled, and installed Asterisk, Asterisk-Addons, and Zaptel
from CVS

Test CVS HEAD Voicemail ODBC Storage
As we are getting closer to release of CVS head as version 1.2, we're
in need of your help.
One of the cool new features in CVS head is the ability to store the
actual voicemail messages in a database. This is not using ARA, the
Asterisk Realtime Architecture, but directly interfaces with ODBC from
app_voicemail. It stores both meta data and audio in the database, which
will give you real

ODBC Voicemail Storage
I current have a working Asterisk 1.2.12 server with ODBC voicemail storage,
realtime static maps for voicemail, sip and iax configuration files.
Realtime extensions, etc. All works great. I have verified that this
configuration works on my test server as well. Now I am trying to test the
1.4B3 version on the same test server, and all works well except for ODBC
voicemail. I am using the same

ODBC Voicemail WEB Retrieval
Ok.
I was sucessful in installing ODBC storage
I'm using MySQL in the backend as it is. but all my drivers are now ODBC.
I am running asterisk-cvs head as of last night 9/19/05
My question is this... the old voicemail.cgi script that allowed checking
voicemail no longer works etc, and never did work for me without a static
voicemail.conf file.
Anyways.. that aside... how does one retrieve
