AMI + AGI for outbound click to dial
Hey Gang,
Trying to figure out how I can do the following (have each part working
individually but drawing a blank on combining)
1) click on-screen which sends an AMI originate (works fine)
2) the originated call is to an internal extension that looks up the number
to be dialed (works)
3) then via Perl, adding in a SIPAddHeader for answer-after=0.. (works
separate from the above)

HUD display?
Hey gang,
Trying something a little funky with a click to dial app. (Perl AGI) It's
working fine but I'd like to change what displays in HUD's screen. Right
now it's showing "Unknown". I've tried setting various CDR fields but can't
seem to change the display. I've tried setting CID and other AGI variables
but nothing seems to affect that display.

Lines Not being Hung UP Major
Hi all, i am having a major asterisk problem. I think it started around
1.2.19 but could also be 1.2.18 zaptel or 6.5.10 snom 360. basically we
start getting busy signals, all our 4 line hunt group is busy, i then
check the channels and there are open calls that were hung up long ago.
i thought it was a zap problem but then i saw the same problem with iax2
calls. its becoming a huge issue

ggplot2 : commands on one line vs two lines.
I have just started using ggplot2 and I seem to be doing something stupid
in writing ggplot2 commands on more than one line.
In the example below the commands on one line are working fine, but as
soon as I put them on two lines I get an error. Can any one point out
what I am doing wrong? It must be something blindingly simple.
Thanks

Linksys (PAP2) delay time between hung up and line release
I have a PAP2 with 2 phone ports.
When I call them everything works fine until I hung up the call. There
is about 30-40 seconds until I can call to that extension again.
Before that it gives me busy messages.
Extension config:
exten => 199,1,Dial(SIP/199,30)
exten => 199,102,Hangup
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Zaptel Hung Up on x101p and cisco analog line
I'm having many troubles with x101p (orginal from Digium, wcfxo kernel module)
on analog line simulated by a Cisco Router
I'm experiency random hung up while zaptel doesn't recognize call progress
(Italy signalling)
Signalling is simple ignored as if someone hangs up on the other end of the
analog line, on the asterisk end is it possible to listen the busy tone as

asterisk hung up the line after 10 minutes right after a beep beep beep sound
I have a normal setup of calls coming in on analog lines (4 of them)
coming into
an old KX1232 pbx. I have those lines forwarded to a T1 card in the KX1232
going over to my T1 card, it then uses IAX going over to my REAL
asterisk pbx.
(these steps are there for testing and other items)
Anyway after a 10 minute call asterisk gives a faint beep, beep, beep
and then
hangs up the line.
Is there

several behind NAT
I've got my asterisk server in the DMZ of my local LAN - I've used my
Budgetone and GXP2000's from the Internet- on direct IP connections
with no problems. However, I'm about to deploy about 5 phones
(either budgetone or GXP2000's) all on a LAN behind a NAT- on a
different network than the Asterisk server. Should I look into using
STUN servers? Will this setup be a

Questions on setting up icecast
Sorry, gang. The FAQ didn't seem to answer me, nor did Googling...
I merely want a simple solution to do the following:
I am setting up a streaming server for in-house use.
I want it to broadcast the RAW MP3 DATA from my actual MP3 files, as I
listen to them in xmms.
In other words, I DO NOT want:
XMMS ---> decode to wave ---> re-encode to MP3 ---> icecast ---> listeners

Pairwise T-Tests and Dunnett's Test (possibly using multcomp)
Hello Everyone,
I've been learning to use R in my spare time over the past several months. I've read about 7-8 books on the subject. Lately I've been testing what I've learned by trying to replicate the analyses from some of my SAS books. This helps me make sure I know how to use R properly and also helps me to understand how the two programs are similar and different.

Samba Hung Process ("D state") and hung system
Hi,
I had an interesting problem with a Samba server recently, and I think I
know what happened. But I want to post here to see if those wiser than I
can confirm this or give me a better explanation of what went awry.
I initially noticed around 8:35 AM samba wasn't working at all, and that my
server had huge load averages indicated by "uptime". Though in "top" I
could

Grandstream GXP2000 Loses Connectivity
I have 20-30 GXP2000's connected to * over a T1 line. Neither end is
NAT'd and there is plenty of bandwidth available over the line. The
GXP's are 1.1.5.15, which is the latest. I have a problem where the
phones keep dropping off of * and I get a "failed to register" message
in the log of *. Sometimes they eventually connect and sometimes, I
have to reboot them to

Lattice histogram with vertical lines
I would like to add some vertical lines to a lattice plot of histograms.
What I am after is a lattice version of abline(v = 1234). The lattice
histogram plot is just:
histogram( ~ LTSE | approach, data = arrivals)
Can anyone point me in the right direction for this?

sidetone
Hi -
I've got a new install with a Sangoma A200 and a few GXP2000's. When
users are talking over the Sangoma, they get a lot of sidetone (local
echo). Internal calls are fine. Where do I adjust that? I assume
its in zapata.conf somewhere?
thanks

Fix a bug that causes the encoder to spend way to many bits on keyframes
Here is a fix that prevents the encoder from spending too many bits on
keyframes. The main problem is that the old code computes the target keyframe
bitrate incorrectly. This causes the code that computes the Q for the frame to
think that it has tons of bits to spend. It selects a high Q value for the
keyframe. Since so many bits were spend on the keyframe the the inter-frames
have to use a much
