HangupRequest Infinite Loop
Asterisk 11.8.1 Today our Asterisk server locked up. Looking through the asterisk full log, I see the following over and over again and the log just continues to grow until we reboot Asterisk. Has anyone seen anything like this before or have any idea what may cause it? [Aug 19 14:41:26] DEBUG[7362] manager.c: Examining event: Event: HangupRequest Privilege: call, all Channel:

DAHDI Outdial To Cell Phone Playing Music
Using Asterisk 1.6.1.14 and dahdi 2.2.0.2+2.2.0. We're placing outbound calls over an analog line. Some of these calls are going to cell phones that play music rather than providing a standard ring. As a result, the Dial command sometimes returns a DIALSTATUS of CHANUNAVAIL and sometimes it returns BUSY. The problem is that this is happening on calls that are being answered. Has anyone else

Limit Number Of Simultaneous Outbound SIP Calls
Is there a way to limit the number of simultaneous outbound SIP calls made by Asterisk? We've tried using the 'Asterisk sip call-limit' parameter but that doesn't seem to be working and one of our engineers says that parameter has been depreciated. Asterisk 1.6 WaitForSilence Problem
I've set up an outbound .call system for customer callbacks and the like. Calls are going out over analog lines and I'm trying to use the WaitForSilence routine to make sure the phone has stopped ringing before starting message playback. The problem is that if I set the first argument of WaitForSilence to anything other than 1, WaitForSilence never exits. Some general info on my setup:

Long equation in documentation
I have a long equation that I need to break in the R documentation of a package or it trails off the right hand side of the page. Here's the formula: \deqn{Cov(r_{ist}, r_{iuv})= [.5\rho_{ist}\rho_{iuv}(\rho_{isu}^2 + \rho_{isv}^2 + \rho_{itu}^2 + \rho_{itv}^2) + \rho_{isu}\rho_{itv}+ \rho_{isv}\rho_{itu}-(\rho_{ist}\rho_{isu}\rho_{isv} + \rho_{its}\rho_{itu}\rho_{itv}) +

[Cellar] FLAC Markdown
Hello all! (cc-ing the flac-dev list) I would like to give an update as to the recent CELLAR work on the FLAC specification. • Work has been done to make internal and external links more accurate and reliable. • 'Rice Coding' has been clarified as 'Exponential Golomb Coding.' • Clarifications have been made for binary representation. • Typos and other small changes have been

SIP Outdial Not Detecting Ringing Line
First off, I also posted this on the digium forums so if anyone here also reads those, sorry for the cross-post. When I place an outbound call using SIP to my cell phone, asterisk immediately starts processing the dialplan without waiting for the call to be answered. We could handle this on DAHDI using callprogress, but I don't know of a similar setting for SIP. Here is the contents of

[RFC] Add IR level interprocedural outliner for code size.
Hi Andrey, Questions and feedback are very much welcome. - The explanation as to why the improvements can vary between the IR and MIR outliner mainly boil down to the level of abstraction that each are working at. The MIR level has very accurate heuristics and is effectively the last post ISel target independent code gen pass. The IR outliner on the other hand has more estimation in the cost

[RFC] Add IR level interprocedural outliner for code size.
I’m River and I’m a compiler engineer at PlayStation. Recently, I’ve been working on an interprocedural outlining (code folding) pass for code size improvement at the IR level. We hit a couple of use cases that the current code size solutions didn’t handle well enough. Outlining is one of the avenues that seemed potentially beneficial. -- Algorithmic Approach -- The general implementation can be

an --exclude-from question
It's probalby a common question, and I've read the man pages and such, but I need a little bit more help getting this specific task to work right. Basically, I want to mirror home directory structures, and only two files within each home directory, to other machines from a central server. Those files are ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs and ~/.procmailrc. Other files should not be transfered,

Kernel panic with two Fritz cards
So I've got a PBX running with one Fritz card with the fcpci module and that works fine, but add another one and... kersplat... Kernel Panic. It boots fine with two cards, but panics as soon as the first fcpci.ko module is 'modprobe'd - I don't even get as far as modprobing the second. Any ideas on what's going on? Should I just back-up to an older version of the fcpci module

ClueCon is coming in 2 weeks so we urge everyone who plans on attending to register today so we get a proper headcount! ClueCon was put together by Asterlink, the same team of people who helped shape Asterisk into what it is today by writing features, fixing bugs, offering IRC support and assisting with the management of the development effort. We have produced several real-world solutions based

I tried to mangle the headers that it appears as the original post: with an invalid return address. -- REW] A few months back, a very alpha version of bliss got posted. That shouldn''t have happened, but, it was pretty much ignored so I didn''t worry about it. But now it seems there''s a bit of a fuss about this. I''ll post the
