Driver for Realtek RTL8151GH-CG
Does anybody know if NIC Realtek RTL8151GH-CG is supported on FreeBSD 9.2 or 10.0? It is included in HP ProDesk 490 MT which I may buy, but I cannot find what hardware parts are supported by FreeBSD and what not. I am running FreeBSD for about 13 years on servers. I didn't run it on desktop grade HW for more than 8 years. So any tips for some solid home PC with i7-4770 (or i7-3770?) is

How to set up real network cards?
I have a hardware here with 9 NICs (8 of them on-board) and I want to set up 8 NICs as real network interfaces, one for each xen domain. The 9th NIC should be Domain-0 which is working well. Currently I have only set up one domain which is running in bridged mode at the moment. I am currently trying to set up a second domain which uses eth2 but I didn''t succeed. I want to get the

Losing Packets after a DNAT in prerouting
I''m trying to setup some DNAT and the packets seem to be disappearing after the PREROUTING step. The packets are coming in eth2 (both LOG targets in iptables and tcpdump confirm this). They are then DNATed to an IP that should cause them to go out eth3. However I never see them go out that interface. I have tried putting LOG rules into the FORWARD chain with no success. I''m

LevelOne WPC-0301 11g Wireless CardBus
Hello, I bought a LevelOne WPC-0301 11g Wireless CardBus Adapter today. According to the box it is "v6". The ral(4) man- page mentions only v2, but that one is ancient and can't be bought anymore. So, enabling the debug sysctl gives this in dmesg: cardbus0: Expecting link target, got 0x0 cardbus0: <network, ethernet> at device 0.0 (no driver attached) cardbus0: CIS pointer

SCCP port numbers used for audio stram?
I have a 7921 wireless phone working with Asterisk, and I want to tighten the wide open port range of my IPTABLES now. I tried allowing only SCCP port (2000) in/out and found that my audio was gone. A quick look at my iptables message shows source port 15886 and dest port 25968 used: FORWARD - Drop: IN=eth1 OUT=eth2 SRC=172.31.253.4 DST=172.31.254.102 LEN=200 TOS=0x18 PREC=0xA0 TTL=63 ID=0

[PATCH net-next v11 0/3] netdev: ndo_tx_timeout cleanup
Sorry about the churn, v10 was based on net - not on net-next by mistake. A bunch of drivers want to know which tx queue triggered a timeout, and virtio wants to do the same. We actually have the info to hand, let's just pass it on to drivers. Note: tested with an experimental virtio patch by Julio. That patch itself isn't ready yet though, so not included. Other drivers compiled only.
