[Xense-devel] [RFC][PATCH][ACM] enforcing ACM policy on network traffic between virtual network interfaces
This patch adds an ACM hook into the network scripts (/etc/xen/scripts).
It adds iptables rules that enforce mandatory access control on network
packets exchanged between virtual interfaces. If ACM is active, this
patch sets the default FORWARD policy in Dom0 to DROP and adds iptables
ACCEPT rules between vifs that belong to domains that are permitted to
share (determined by using the

memory question!
I have a question about memory. I have 8GB of RAM on a
Dell PE 1850(usb disabled kernel, cos it gets locked
up on heavy I/O). My domain0 has only 2 gigs of
memory. I have 2 guest domains 512 each. Now when i
try to create a 3rd guest domain of 512, xen wont let
me do it. My confusion is "Is 4G the max amount of
memory a domain can get/ or is 4G the max amout of
cumulative memory all the

Hello,
I can''t load the network in unprivileged domain with xen-unstable

eth aliases and xen
Say, I''ve found a fairly reproducible error:
If you have ethernet aliases, when you first start xend (I
use /etc/init.d/xend start) your brige fails to initialize properly.
However on the exact same build/hardware/server removing the aliases
produced a solid server for both domain0 and domain1
I tried to fix the bridge with "brctl addif xen-br0 eth0" and that would
work, but

diagram correction for Xen Networking with vlan on bonding
I think the diagram here:
http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenNetworking#line-474
should be more like this:
http://pastebin.com/cjxbXrJW
I''ve asked Stephen for edit rights on the wiki but wanted to ask for
confirmation before editing it.
Notes:
The connections at the top are switch ports
bond1 has eth2 and eth3
eth0 maps to bond0.100 and eth1 maps to bond1.200

[LLVMdev] C interface
Hello Gordon,
I'm part of the felix dev team, and I've been interested in making a
backend for felix in llvm. It's very exciting to hear that you're making
an ocaml interface to llvm. Do you have any of the libraries exposed to
the public yet? Also, what license do you plan on using for the code?
Felix is bsd, like llvm, so if there's any chance that you'll use a

help! error in creating a new domain
Maybe this question is a little stupid, but please help me. I am a newbie
to Xen.
When I tried to create a new domain "domain 1", I followed the Yan-Ching
CHU''s guide on :installing quick file systems for new domains in Xen 1.2".
But when I do "xc_dom_create.py -Dvmid=1", Xen seems to start to boot with
some normal bootup information, but right after several

I have read that so many times. I started out with the simple, prompted

Interesting what happens when I take out --site directive (see below).

/var partition overflow (due to spyware?) in FreeBSD default install
All:
I'm posting this to FreeBSD-security (rather than FreeBSD-net) because
the problems I'm seeing appear to have been caused by spyware, and
because they constitute a possible avenue for denial of service on
FreeBSD machines with default installs of the operating system.
Several of the FreeBSD machines on our network began to act strangely
during the past week. Some have started to

Maybe a bug of xen
Hi!
Maybe, I found a bug of xen.
My system:
- domain0 - gentoo - xen-devel-3.0, kernel 2.6.12.5-r1
- domain1 - debian - kernel 2.6.12.5-r1 (2 interface: vif1.1 = eth0
(0.0.0.0), vif1.2 = eth1 (10.0.1.1 + gw 10.0.1.2))
Bridge:
xen-br0 (config as 10.0.1.2) include (vif1.2, vif0.0)
xen-br1 (config as 0.0.0.0) include (vif1.1, peth0)
On server domain1 I use a pppoe server.
If a send a pppoe request

Possibly WERR_DS_DRA_ACCESS_DENIED or NT_STATUS_CANT_ACCESS_DOMAIN_INFO
Hai,
In addition to Rowlands last mail.
I see wrong rights in /var/lib/samba/private
You want : drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4096 May 6 13:06 private
Missing bind (named.conf.option)
In options {
empty-zones-enable no;
auth-nxdomain yes; # This server IS authorive for the AD-DC zones.
// to use new samba backup onnline tool, you also need auth-nxdomain yes; //
