Calls drop after 20 seconds
Hi all,
This issue is giving me a lot of grief with my customers. I have 5
asterisk servers running in production, each one with almost 70
simultaneous calls at peak hour. Most of my customers complain that
their calls drop after 20 seconds or so.
After running through my cdr's, I see that the number of 20 second
calls is MUCH larger than any other number. (see below)

Hi Scott, thanks for the answer, can share some link or documentation about
how setup this in SPA3102? I try to get something about this using google,
but found comments but nothing useful.

Grabbing the billsec and duration after a hangup.
Hello,
I am wondering if someone has got any ideas that can help solve this
problem.
I have a dial plan that you call into, and depending on certain conditions
it calls out on a number grabbed from a database.
Something like this :
exten => s,n,Do something
exten => s,n,Do something else
exten => s,n,Dial(ZAP/g1/${OUTBOUND},${timeout})
I need to log the time the person

cdr records on transfer
Hello!
i'm trying to set up transfer without using the respective
asterisk-function but with the built-in phone functions. my goal is to
have the first callleg billed to the caller and the second callleg to the
callee, who is responsible for the forward(and i can't bill a unknown
caller anyways)
so far it's working without problems, but my cdr's are messed. with the
help of the

Mysql 6 second rounding
This is more of mysql question then asterisk :D . Most voip providers use 6
second rounding for costing . My asterisk server stores call cdr's in mysql
properly with billsec field containing number of billed seconds . I want to
know some function to round this to 6 seconds ( or any custom valud like 30
seconds ) ..Suppose if billsec field is 3 seconds then it should round to 6
seconds , if

GXW4004 - lines get stuck
Hi,
I have an issue with a GWX4004 used a as a VoIP trunk to PSTN lines
converter. In some instances, lines get stuck (both parties hang up, but
the GXW4004 status shows "off hook" for the lines). It stays like this until
reboot.
Is there a specific setting I should be looking for? I couldn't find
anything about that specifically.

Reinvite to alaw after T.38 reception
I'm having issues with T.38 on Asterisk 1.6.2.8. A few lines are received OK and then I get only garbage. I'm using ReceiveFAX() provided by app_fax to receive the faxes.
After talking to the engineers on the telco, they said Asterisk is sending a REINVITE to alaw after the T.38 reception is complete, and that could be the cause of the problems.
I personally am not totally convinced of

CDR changes in 1.4.3?
Hey,
I just found this in ML archives.
I have pretty the same situation - i had very well written CDR
processing engine on asterisk, making use of ResetCDRs, however now
when we're migrating to 1.4, it's a bit pain to deal with extra CDR
records. My engine is built so that MYSQL CDR can be used directly for
reports (imagine - you get whatever report you need immediately). So,
this way i
