Hey, all. I'm all over MWI, but I gotta say that I think the Polycoms go a bit over the top. The blinking LED is enough for me; how do I disable the stuttered dialtone and the audible warble? So far, I have my system running well but the problem I am seeing is that MWI doesn't seem to tell my phone that it should display a MWI state. I'm running into an issue w/ Buddy status on Polycom IP650 phones using buddy status (with SIP Hints) on Asterisk 1.4. Sometimes the status on the phones will "stick" in the busy status. I have noticed that I can call that extension & the status will reset (sometimes). Anyone else encountered this or anything similar. -Chris

Hey all...I'm trying to find a phone that will support multiple MWI so that I can have a shared central phone with say 4 users who can see visually that hey have messages waiting. Is there any phone that will do this possibly by re-assigning a soft-button? Can the Polycoms do this since those seem to be the phone of choice these days? Thanks!
