asterisk 1.4.26.3 makes kernel panic
Hi,
I'm experiencing "frequent" kernel panics on a system with Asterisk 1.4.26.3.
There is no core dump, "just" a kernel panic.
This is the only data I could copy from the screen:

Zap channels: no sound with certain call paths
Hi,
A most peculiar and vexing problem for you all. I hope I have been
verbose enough without being a firehose ;)
The set up:
I have a channel bank, using the r1t1 rhino driver with a rhino T1 card
(the channel bank itself is a very legacy piece of equipment)- this
supplies FXS for all the house phones. Also, a Wildcard TDM400P, using
the wctdm module with 1 FXO module, this supplies FXO to the

IAX vs SIP - Getting Asterisk out of the media path
If a call comes into my Asterisk server on a DiD provided by an ITSP and the
dialplan sends that call to another external number throught the same ITSP's
network, I don't want the RTP packets to pass through my server once the
call is bridged.
I have had great success getting this to work using IAX, but I have not been
able to get this to work with SIP. The call is bridged OK (media at

Newcomer Question
Hallo Group!
My Name is Guenther Sohler and I registred to this group, because
I think asterisk could be interesting for me.
I have got a small server at home running linux.
It does NAT and a Firewall. There is an intranet with my home PC
and a hardware SIP phone.
This SIP phone registers at mujtelefon.cz
Now I got another account at sipgate.at
My idea is following:

collectd leaks SIGCHLD == SIG_IGN into plugins
Peter Dimitrov and myself were debugging a very peculiar bug when
libguestfs is run as a plugin from collectd:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2018-November/thread.html#00023
The long story short is that collectd leaks SIGCHLD == SIG_IGN setting
into plugins:

This means that any plugin that does the usual

aov, lme, multcomp
I am doing an analysis and would like to use lme() and the multcomp
package to do multiple comparisons. My design is a within subjects
design with three crossed fixed factors (every participant sees every
combination of three fixed factors A,B,C). Of course, I can use aov() to
analyze this with an error term (leaving out the obvious bits):
y ~ A*B*C+Error(Subject/(A*B*C))

Problems with the rsync command line syntax for multiple files
I feel completely stupid for asking this question, but I have an
essential problem of getting the syntax right for synchronizing
multiple files. I am trying to use rsync to synchronize files
generated in one directory with our public directory our web server.
We have a number of files with the extension html so I have tried the
following command line:

Looping Through QuantMod Objects
Dear R Helpers,
I have run into a problem trying to perform a number of actions on a set
of quantmod data objects through a loop and I am hoping that this is an
easy problem for someone else as opposed to very difficult for me.
The example task is to get the first three objects of the quarterly
balance sheet for a number of companies from the getFinancials object and
put them together into a

3.1.x and 3.2.x releases
Folks,
A new release candidate for 3.2.0 has just been checked into the
xen-unstable tree. It''s available from staging and will be in the main tree
when it has passed internal regression tests.
Meanwhile, in preparation for 3.1.3, please let me know if there are any
further patches from xen-unstable that should be backported into the 3.1
branch. You can pull the xen-3.1-testing.hg

Exception flag set - snom200
Sorry I forgot the subject in the last post.
When my snom200 receives an inbound SIP external sip call, it somehow
rejects the call and with a busy tone. The debug shows the following
error:
channel.c:1142 ast_read: Exception flag set on 'SIP/sipphone-7796', but
no exception handler
what does this mean and how can I debug it further??
Thanks
