Setting up Nokia e71: registration problem
In SIP setting on the e71 I set the public user name as 1995 at 10.10.11.180. There is a sip.conf context [1995] On the asterisk CLI I get: Registration from '<sip:%201995 at 10.10.11.180:5060>' failed for '10.10.11.98' - No matching peer found So I changed the sip.conf context to [%201995] Then: [2009-11-19 20:44:28] WARNING[14371]: chan_sip.c:11797 check_auth:

wellgate registration 3802
I have a new wellgate 3802 unit. I have not gotten it to register with asterisk 1.2.6. My proxy setting is the correct IP in the 3802. My security config is 1001/1001 and 1002/1002 on the wellgate (simple at this time). My sip.conf has: [wellgate3802L1] type=friend dtmfmode=inband username=1001 secret=1001 host=dynamic canreinvite=yes nat=no context=wellgate [wellgate3802L2] type=friend

The phones will register fine and work for a few minutes to hours but then will drop their connection and will no register to asterisk even with a restart of the phone. SPA3102 registration problem
Hi list, After failing to get a Sipura/Linksys SPA3000, which I've configured as a PSTN gateway, to pass on the Caller ID, I decided to try my luck with a Linksys SPA3102 after hearing some promising stories. Unfortunately, I've run into a completely new problem: it seems Asterisk won't let this device register. I went about configuring the SPA3102 in much the same way as I

PBXNSIP Registration Issue
I've got PBXNSIP running on a windows box and it is trying to register with my Asterisk box. I can set up one trunk and it works fine, however if I try to setup a second trunk from the same box, there is some sort of authentication issue where Asterisk appears to be confusing which trunk is which. Here is the chunk from my sip.conf: [TEST1] context=STUFF-LD type=friend

Registration failed problems/Polycom 500/maybe nat problem?
I have sent a Polycom IP500 phone to an overseas remote user who has a Speedtouch adsl modem/router. The phone is connected to the 4 port router which performs NAT for the network. The phone rboots, find the server, downloads it's config and tried to register. Then it immediately becomes UNREACHABLE.
