Diablo will start but the Gnome panels on the top and bottom stay on top and so those panels interfere with my playing of the game. I would like to be able to play full screen as it is a little easier that way.

I was reading the notes about using Diablo II under Wine and I noticed that one of the requirements was not to have Wine compiled with gcc 4.0. Is this still the case and if so why would the compiler make a difference? I know I could run with a cracked version of Diablo II, but I would prefer not to. I was reading the WINE Traffic #245 and so I thought about trying the RPMs that Vincent produces for FC2. Before I installed them I looked at the file contents and noticed that there does not seem to be a "fake windows" drive setup in the RPM and that the Windows User tools like Notepad and Control are not in the RPM. Hi, I wanted to mirror an entire site's contents, however I could not find software to do so. My friend told me about web-snake, which could do the job for me. However, I could not get it to start under wine. The splash screen stays on top, which to kill it I need to go to tty2, run top, and kill it from there. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Hello, I still own MS Windows NT 4 Workstation and Windows95 both on CD. According to the FAQ Windows can't be installed using Wine, but the DLLs could be extracted and used with Wine.
