But when I try to run it with one of the following commands: wine war3 -opengl wine "Warcraft III.exe" -opengl a dialog box appears which tells me that Warcraft could not find DirectX 8.1. I have been running Debian Testing for at least 6 months now and up until about a month ago, Warcraft III ran fine. Now it keeps giving me an error about msvcr80.dll. Hi, I installed Warcraft III under Wine v20050524. Installation went just fine, but when I start the game with the -opengl flag, my mouse does not work correctly. I can't click on any buttons in the menu. When I start a game using the hotkeys, I get ingame. There the mouse doesn't work properly as well. Sometimes clicks are recognized, but I wouldn't call it playable. Any hints?

Hello, I was running Warcraft III via Wine 1.1.0 on Ubuntu 8.04 and I no longer need to because I now run it in a virtual machine. I tried to uninstall it via the "Uninstall Wine Software" tab within the Wine menu. It no longer appears in that menu, but when it still appears in the programs menu.
