"Register Attacks" End of ENUM ?
Hello again! after it being "relatively quiet" her for the last weeks, my Astrerisk server was the target of 3 of that nasty REGISTER attacks during the last days. While I can see not much danger coming from these attacks (I use very long, complicated random generated passwords), they are still very annoying, because they always lead to my server crashing. (I think it's some out of

Need testers for new STUN build system
I'm working on contributing two things for Asterisk 1) STUN suport, this will allow asterisk to detect any NAT firewalls and enable eventual self-configuration with respet to NAT 2) A GNU "autotools" based build system. This will enable developers to make their code more portable and for features to be enabled/disabled as compile time. As a first step

Shaping incoming VoIP traffic fails
Hello, I''m trying to get lossless VoIP traffic over my 3000k/500k ADSL line. Shaping outgoing traffic is no problem: I set total ceil for outgiong device (ppp0) to 450kbit and put VoIP into highest prio class. Even during full upload the voice is clean on the other end. Now I tried to get the same result for incoming data. I attached HTB to eth1 where the incoming voip traffic is

Hi List, we are using openh323 gatekeeper for voip telefony. We also have a voip over ss7 TELES Switch for voip into POSTN Network. Know we want to use Asterisk for converting SIP to h323. Now my question. Is Asterisk an full h323 gatekeeper like openh323? Do we need openh323 GK for astrerisk, too?. And how can i tell asterisk to sent all none SIP-ip calls to the gatekeeper over h323? thx

Asterisk build-environment in Xen-DomU
Hi, I'm trying to migrate a Asterisk build-environment from a physical to a paravirtualized machine on Xen 3.0 - on this system Asterisk don't need to run at all, it is only for building RPMs. Host OS and guest OS both are CentOS 5.2. The build of Asterisk, Asterisk-addons and Zaptel works, but MeetMe and some other components are not compiled because Zaptel was not installed on the

[LLVMdev] Is there a control dependence graph builder?
Hi, In browsing through the LLVM source, I don't currently see an implementation for a control dependence graph builder. Am I overlooking something? It doesn't look like LLVM currently provides a way to build the post-dominance frontier of the reverse CFG, either. Dominators.h mentions forward dominators, but I believe all this is referring to is dominators as opposed to post-dominators,

Outgoing Google Motif Calls connect but continue ringing on outgoing side
I upgraded from Asterisk 10 to 11 and switched from gtalk.conf and jabber.conf to use motif.conf and xmpp.conf. I disabled gtalk and jabber from loading in modules.conf noload => res_jabber.so noload => chan_gtalk.so After copying my settings to the new conf files and restarting Asterisk I had no errors, but making outgoing calls from clients just kept ringing even though the other side

record points outside file error with dovecot revision 9116:9ae55b68cf61
I use mbox with mbox-snarf plugin. I get errors like: dovecot: IMAP(testuser): Corrupted index cache file /full/path/ dovecot.index.cache: record points outside file The errors can be in either folders or INBOX. I put some syslog statements in src/lib-index/mail-cache-lookup.c to help understand this. if (offset + sizeof(*rec) > cache->mmap_length) {
