Little confused about Caller ID
OK here it goes..
Caller ID is two parts or actually three:
Part 1 Number only
Part 2 Number + Name
Part 3 Whole lotta stuff (also known as ADSI)
Here is the US, I cannot speak for other countries.
When party A places a call to Party B. Party A's Telco picks up the
number, either from a table on the switch or passed from the PRI from
Party A. Then on the far side (Party B's Telco)

Dungeon Keeper
Hello,
Has anyone ever gotten Dungeon Keeper to successfully run under wine?
I'm a newbie to wine, but I managed to get it installed and configured to
the point of where it would install the game off the cd-rom.
I'm using:
Wine release 20010629
And I've added the usual WinMM section to the config file.
Here is what wine told me when I installed the game:

exim dovecot sieve
Hello list.
I have just a generic question. Exim delivers fine to dovecot-lda. My
problems are the logfiles. Whenever I recieve a message
Exim writes to dovecot.log as the user who recieves the mail. This
forces me to have that logfile world writeable. I don't
really like that. How do you guys deal with that? Here my transport:

How to send correct Caller ID on PRI
Assuming that you are in the US (don't know about elsewhere), the Calling Party Name is obtained by a database lookup performed by the PSTN switch terminating the call. Calling Party Name is the name assigned to your line or location by the phone company. You can't "send" it. You can only receive it, if the phone company has it to transmit in the FACILITY message.

You don't need to write them down. Or trust some 3rd party password
keeper to keep them. Whereas when 'not weak' is determined by
someone else in the middle of trying to complete something, you are

a domain VTx with the VNIF does hang.
Hi all, my name is Hirofumi Tsujimura.
We are porting and testing a PV-on-HVM in the IPF.
This is a first time to send mail.
I probably found the problem when I tested the VNIF.
My operation for the test is following.
1. create a domain VTx and attach the VNIF in it.
2. create a domain U.
3. send a packet to the domain VTx from the domain U with ping
command.
Then, the domain VTx

redirect with application add
There are groups within our app that people can be invited too. If a user
recieves an invite to a group and hasn''t yet added the application the
filter chain ends up redirecting them to the main canvas page instead of the
the group page directly. Is there a way to handle this if the user hasn''t
installed the app, I tried redirect_back_or_default in one of my controllers
but it

[OT] Shaping and squid question
List
Out of interest, I use transparent squid proxies for caching websites,
and I shape the clients that browse the net, this all works perfectly
so no questions in this regard...
CLIENT <--- eth0 ----> SQUID <----- ppp0 -----> NET
What I just realised was that all egress traffic on eth0 gets shaped,
squid gets data from ppp0 and hence is not shaped. Does this mean that

quadBRI and UK ISDN2e
Morning Asterikians,
I've just got my nice shiny quadBRI card, and it seems to be working
very well - except for one little issue - CallerID.
The card is currently connected to an ISDN2e line in P2P mode, and an S0
adapter on our existing alcatel PBX. The S0 connection recieves callerID
and displays it correctly - the 2e line doesn't, and BT have said that
CLID was enabled on the

Serial port DTMF Caller-ID reciever /w scripts for X100P/X101P/Clones....
Since the X100P/X101P/Clone cards does not work in all countries that
use DTMF based
Caller-ID systems, I've developed a hardware that you connect to a
serial port and the PSTN.
You then run a perl script "cid_logger.pl" as a daemon, and modify
extensions.conf to call
an agi script whenever a call comes in, and if it's on the X100 card it
will get the caller id
