setting CDR values on failed calls
Hi All, I am relatively new to Asterisk. I have CDR enabled and successfully writing to MS SQL server. In my cdr table I am setting the userfield value with a line in my dialplan. If a call is placed to an invalid number (e.g. 12125551212), I see a cdr record created, however, my userfield value never gets set since the call never made it into the context of my dialplan. I am using AMI with the

Zapata, Junghanns Card and a leading 0 on inbound calls
Hi, I'm using a Junghanns Quadbri ISDN card on some lines from the Austrian Telekom. Things are working, the only missing stuff is to add a "0" as a prefix to each incoming call, to make it possible to answer missed call lists. I'm using the 0 as the prefix for outside lines. I've experimented a little with the prefix settings in zapata.conf, but without success:

Outgoing Calls Only -- Firewall Rules
I'm trying to move my Asterisk deployments under a Virtual IP address and now remember why I dislike this. My primary Asterisk system is now behind a firewall in private address space. My question is what ports are needed to be opened just for the purpose of placing outgoing calls. I would have assumed none, but I can't even get replies on registration from any of my 3 VoIP providers.

Sip phones using the wrong context for an outbound call
Hi, recently I changend a few things in the configuration of the Asterisk 1.2.17-BRIstuffed-0.3.0-PRE-1y-d of a customer. One demand was that different groups of SIP-Phones are using different trunks to the outside worls, so I moved some of them to a Support context. However, dial out from this phones failes as they're still looking for an extension in the default context, which doesn't

Indicating agent status on the phone
Hi, I'm playing around with the queue features, and I'm looking for a solution to indicate the agent status (logged on / logged off) on the phone (Grandstream GPX2000 or SNOM 190) It would be nice to use one of the busy lamps... thanks -- Alexander Topolanek Intelligente EDV- und Telekommunikationsl?sungen Montage von Sicherheitstechnik Probst Peitlstr. 85 2103 Langenzersdorf +43

Time series, least squares line
Hello, I have a time-series of standards measured for Refractive index. They are daily standards, however, I didn't run one everyday so some days have no data. I can plot the values, but the x-axis does not represent the correct time series (i.e. it's just an evenly spaced 1,2,3 type axis). I want to plot the points with some form of representitive date line on the x-axis. I don't

ChanSpy or other variant
I'm trying to figure out how to listen in to a channel that I specify. I have the impression I've seen this done via Flash web controls, but I'm trying to write something myself and I can't figure out what command would be used. ChanSpy looks great, but I don't see how to specify the channel. I have a channel identifier like "SIP/provider-08748db0" which is what I

How to add System V Filesystem to Centos?
Hi, I am working on a project where I have to move some parts files from an old Unix server. I have tared the files to floppy disc, but I can't mount them. After doing some reasearch I have found that the SCO Unix ver 3.2 uses a System V filesystem I think. From the article that I have read I need to add this filesystem to my kernel to be able to mount and read the floppy discs. Can

syslog messages after cd-rom removal
Sorry, I know this is not really libvirt related, but I'm searching for a solution sind about an hour and cannot find anything that helps me ... Ok, I used to install a standard debian in a kvm instance, and removed the virtual cd-rom after installation. Now I'm getting this triplet every five minutes in my syslog: Jan 26 19:25:12 srv62 kernel: [ 1324.267675] hdc: task_in_intr:
