Sending works but on receive it keeps failing - reporting back 'training' failure. I am using Asterisk 1.6 with T38. What should I post to the list to assist diagnoses? Michael

When I restart or reboot I can not dial out. The dial() incorrectly sees dahdi/1 as busy. I call in once from a cell phone, which is successful then I can call out with out issue. Hello, I'm trying to send a fax with sendafax aplication and receive the fax with the receiveFax aplication on the same Asterisk Server (1.8..8.2). All work fine but the PBX always use T30 protocol. Is thes a variable or setting to configure Asterisk to send and receive this fax with T38 protocol only? Thank you Regards

Dear colleagues, after hundreds of hours I finally managed to figure out how to send faxes from a T.38 capable endpoint reliably via Asterisk / PJSIP. My setup is as follows: A T.38 capable endpoint sends the fax to Asterisk which passes the fax to a T.38 capable trunk which then sends the fax to its final destination.
