SIP 800 Origination/Termination - International
Anyone have a good provider for International (US/Canada at least) 800
termination/origination? I have a customer that had us port one of their
800 numbers and apparently didn't realize that they had published that
number in Canada as well. Our current origination/termination provider
can't handle Canadian inbound calls to that number, so I need to find
another provider that can.

Opinions on the best wholesale origination/term providers
I've been losing patience with my current provider, a small company
called Sellvoip. Their termination is good, and they are
asterisk based, but they are understaffed and have no concept
of customer service. So I'm shopping.
I am interested in the opinions of others on the providers they
work with.
Here are my criteria, roughly in order
a) Decent quality, low latency.

What is the best way to resale termination/origination?
Hi,
We have been selling * systems for a while and always have used other
companies for origination and termination and let the client pay directly.
Since we do not have enough traffic to justify building our own
infrastructure we would like to start reselling someone else's service.
Any ideas? It would have to include easy way for billing.
Thank you.

Level(3) SIP termination services
John,
I spoke with Level(3) last week regarding SIP termination. They
quoted $0.01/minute, with an 11 Million Minute / Month minimum.
Ugh!

SIP Termination with automatic debit
Can anyone recommend any wholesale SIP termination providers that will
automatically charge a credit card? Most seem to want upfront payment
and a credit balance but that sucks when you have to watch it like a
hawk to make sure the balance never hits zero. I'm looking for a
provider that can automatically charge a credit card.

Explain to me VoIP termination service.
I'm confused about VoIP termination service. Would this mean that I could
have an Asterisk server in my basement and receive/call PSTN phones via a
VoIP termination provider? The "call" out from my box would go over the
Internet to a termination provider which would in turn convert it to analog
over the PSTN to someone's plain old phone? And vise-versa, a plain old
phone caller

confused about iax and voip providers termination
Hey guys,
I'm actively trying to get the "big" picture on how all this works and
relates to each other.
I've gone through some basic examples from the book and from the sample
files just fine.
Now, I've setup an account with a VOIP provider which does IAX termination

After getting an account and following their steps, I can make calls out

Hierarchical factors
Hello,
Hierarchical factors are a very common data structure. For instance, one
might have municipalities within states within countries within
continents. Other examples include occupational codes, biological
species, software types (R within statistical software within analytical
software), etc.
Such data structures commonly use hierarchical coding systems. For
example, the 2007 North

What are the various models of DID providers
Hi,
Inspired by a recent rant about one particular provider, I am getting
very curious about something I've never mastered. I'd like someone to
explain this here or at least post a link or two that can educate me
and probably countless others who have no knowledge in this area. I'm
sure there are several of you reading this that know all about the
subject.
What are the various

origination providers
hi folks,
Has anyone found a good (and, ideally, cheap -- we don't really want any
per-minute charges) origination provider which can handle a moderate
number of simultaneous incoming calls (to the same, single DID)?
Many of the providers I've tried contacting either won't call me back,
or want me to sign an NDA just to get a rate quote, or some other
bullshit. Most of the

DUNDi Asterisk Cluster
We use only IP connections to our asterisk boxes. Given this our
origination/termination providers
usually send/receive traffic to/from our network on a single IP or
limited number of IPs.
In a DUNDi Asterisk Cluster, would each of the boxes need to be able
to connect to our origination/termination providers directly, or would
we need to setup a common gateway box to forward calls to/from our

Looking for postpaid quality A-Z termination
Hi List,
After quite a bit of struggle, it looks like I'm all ready to roll out
prepaid cards on my small island. I now have a 4 E1s with a bit of spare
capacity in order to accept incoming calls, and I can route Reunion
Island mobile and fix through my own installations.
For all other destinations, I need a carrier. I need good wholesale
prices to Comoros, Mauritius, Madagascar, India,

Level(3) SIP termination services?
Anyone investigated the new service offerings from Level(3) in the
last few months? They claim to be using ENUM and SIP - see
http://www.level3.net/2192.html for details. Any idea of their
pricing model for mid-sized enterprise applications or call centers
for origination/termination? More specifically, do they interoperate
with Asterisk? Some providers insist on certain hardware that

Enterprise quality SIP provider
I need to setup incoming (over an 800 number and some local DID's) and
outgoing phone calls (all over the country) with an Asterisk server.
This asterisk server has 20 Polycom 430 phones connecting to it.
I need the best possible SIP provider out there. I have tried
http://www.nufone.net and http://www.broadvoice.com and they do not
even come close to the expected quality.

Stumped on LD questions......
OK.. I'm up to my eyes in LD BS!
I can't for the life of me understand how any carrier, either VoIP or
traditional service provider can make heads or tails of how to hand off an *
based call to an LD provider. Every provider I talk to, says I have to have
a traditional T1 put in to their respective networks.
I don't want to do this. I want a LD provider that can take a IP, SIP, IAX
