Hi all, I wanted to switch from my current setup (mISDN) to the native dahdi with b410p support (wcb4xp). All works fine for normal phone calls but not for faxing. Faxes are distorted, if arriving at all, and hylafax logs the usual bad stuff (HDLC frame not byte-oriented.) Hi Last month, people reported a crash with Asterisk 1.2.13 and spandsp-0.0.3 when receiving a fax using fax detection. Today I've tried 1.2.14 with the latest spandsp 0.0.3pre27 and with the snapshots for app_rxfax.c and app_txfax.c. The problem still happens. Has anyone found how to resolve this issue? hi folks. i recently upgraded asterisk to 1.6.1.17(from 1.2) and i'm having problems with fax. after receiving fax with the ReceiveFAX app. everything seems ok. the .tiff file was there, phone line seems to hang up. then asterisk will crash. any ideas? also i looked in the log file. this is what before it crashed: [Mar 8 12:12:12] WARNING[30115] app_fax.c: WARNING T.30 ECM carrier not found

Hi, Does anyone know what it means when I've got an incoming fax routed through to iaxmodem+hylafax and then I see this in the asterisk log: DEBUG[18902] chan_dahdi.c: Detected digit 'f' This happens just after the initial fax negotiation has started and seems to correspond with the sending fax machine giving up. Steve, I am trying to get tx_fax to work. I am using a TDM2401E card. I have a 3 page fax and I only receive the first page on every attempt. I think I have enabled debug output below.
