Linejack strikes again.
Hi All, Does anyone know if there has been any developments in asterisk to use LineJacks to dial out (connect to the PSTN)? The card works perfectly with virtually anything else but asterisk. Maybe the CVS versions have some work on it? Cheers, -Z -- __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com

dahdi_tool shows no alarms, but no line connected
Hi, I'm using Sangoma's wanpipe together with dahdi, all software downloaded today at most recent version. Hardware is Sangoma A104, a 4xE1 card. Installation went well. Anyway, wanrouter status shows a different result than dahdi_tool or dahdi_scan. I've just put a hardware loop on port 1. All the other ports are open. wanrouter status shows the expected result: Device name |

Description of Zaptel/DAHDI E1 alarms
Hello, I am missing any description of zaptel/DAHDI alarms. The TE200 series user manual contains only a description of LEDs states. These alarms states are visible in zttool/dahditool or in astersick CLI (zap show status) and I wonder what is the real meaning of these alarms for E1 channel. Possible alarm states (based on zaptel.h 1.2): 1. No alarms 2. Recovering from alarm 3. In loopback

Incoming Calls
Hi All, I have the following scenario, it may already have been answered elsewhere, but I cant find the solution. I already have a PBX and would like to start implementing asterisk. I have ordered a 4 port card from the asterisk store (2 port FXS and 2 port FXO) and am waiting for it to arrive. I do not want to plug my incoming lines into my FXO ports yet as not all the desks have IP phones

Rgui.exe cannot be set as default program under Vista wtih R2.10.1
Dear moderators, when I installed the latest version of R (R2.10.1) under Microsoft Vista (service pack 2), I ran into problems associating Rgui.exe with .RData files. On doubleckicking such files in explorer, they open in a Rterm window. Trying to associate Rgui.exe with the Rdata files via control panel / default programs does not work - Rgui is not added to the list of recommended programs. I

[OT] Combinatorials wtih constraints
This is not an R question, but a question on some combinatorial mathematics. Apologies for the OT if it is wildy inappropriate. The traditional C(n.k) method tells me how many combinations k I can make with n objects. However, suppose I want the number of combinations where an object cannot be used more than Q times where Q is a parameter that changes? For instance: combn(LETTERS[1:5], 3) shows

I haven't tried it, but if snmp-ups polls every 30 seconds, and MAXAGE is 15, then with a random polling interval, 50% of the time the data would be more than 15 seconds old. In

speeding up loop and dealing wtih memory problems
Dear All and Mark, Given a dataset that I have called dat, I was hoping to speed up the following loop: for(i in 1:835353){ for(j in 1:86){ if (is.na(dat[i,j])==TRUE){dat[i,j]<-0 }}} Actually I am also having a memory problem. I get the following: Error: cannot allocate vector of size 3.2 Mb In addition: Warning messages: 1: In dat[i, j] <- 0 : Reached total allocation of 1535Mb: see

trouble wtih webstore schema, handling product variations
Hi Railers, Does anyone have any guidance on setting up a simple way to handle product variations (e.g garment size/color)? Initially, I had thought that I would make a variation model which defined the extra bits, but it seems quite inflexible especially so if a store were to sell non-clothing items that also had variants of one flavor or another. product has_many variations title

[LLVMdev] Runtime linker issue wtih X11R6 on i386 with -O3 optimization
Hi everybody. I have an odd issue that I'd like to get some advice on. It is a bit of a long story so please bear with me. X11R6 has a notion of modules so it basically compiles everything into shared libraries and at start-of-day it loads libraries (modules) as needed. A side effect of that is that they require really lazy binding because they do (can?) not enforce the load order. The

Wtih version 0.22.1 using SQLite storage, only resource -> host foreign keys are present
Hi, I am developing an end user WWW-based front end for Rails for my system integrator and developer colleagues to use to easily view and search our Puppet configs via a Rails app. I set up the SQLite storage option on the server and the puppet tables are being populated in /var/puppet/state/, but foreign keys for everything except host_id in resources are not being set. Is this expected

Check sip availability
Hello everybody. I have 100+ sip extensions over 100+ different geographical places. Many times, the phone is intentionally left off hook, or the user change the phone from the sip line to the land line, simply because they want to call and the sip phone is the "new" one... other times, the sip line, which are linksys' pap, tell me that is in congestion or "circuit

Problem installing B410P BRI card for asterisk
Dear all, I know this is more a Digium hardware than an Asterisk issue. Already posted a question at Digium, however also like to see whether anyone in the Asterisk community has encountered the following situation: I installed a Digium B410P BRI PCI card on my new asterisk server, following the steps specified in the manual. I can see the PCI card is available using the lspci command: ...
