queue_log analysis
Hi,
I am running a call center based on Asterisk and building some statistics based on the queue_log file.
I have some doubts about it that maybe you could help (actually, maybe these doubts are suggestions for enhancements!):
1st Scenario - Agent receives the call, and puts it on parking for somebody else to pick it up.

Queue_log all calls marked ABANDONED?
I went to run my queue_log parser so that I could send out a monthly
report to one of my customers, and I noticed that every valid call
complete action (COMPLETEAGENT, COMPLETECALLER) is followed by an
ABANDON:
Here is a complete-caller:

Queue Log
Hello everyone,
This is is my first email to this group.
I'm am writing a small php program to pull some info out of our
Asterisk's queue_log. I'm having trouble figuring out what some of the
parameters mean.
Here's an example:

Enterqueue event not generated when cfu internal
Hi all
Using asterisk 16.25.0 (I know it's a bit old)
I'm trying to parse the realtime queue_log and I realized that not every call
has a ENTERQUEUE event.
I see that if there's an internal call to an extension that has a dialplan
forward to a queue (no call is placed to the extension before calling the
queue), the ENTERQUEUE event is not generated in the queue_log

Missing TRANSFER event in queue log when using Local Channels
Has anyone observed a problem where using Local channels with AddQueueMember
results in missing TRANSFER events?
Right now I'm using straight SIP channels when I call AddQueueMember(). I'm
contemplating moving to Local channels because the non-state-based
wrapuptime blows when you have a channel in multiple queues (they can hang
up and get a call immediately so long as it's from a

estimated queue hold time
Hello list,
I'm looking for a way to have the estimated hold time on a queue prior to
joining it.
someone suggested to me to Queue() first for 1 sec, read
variable QUEUEHOLDTIME, validade it and Queue() again.
But as we're using real time configuration that would mean a event
ENTERQUEUE and a LEAVEQUEUE too much in MySQL's queue_log
any suggestions??
Thanks in advance

Asterisk 1.6 Transfer issue[Edited]
Hi ,
I;ve Asterisk 1.6.0 with static agents (sip softphones with extns 100 & 101
) in a queue..When a caller arrives in queue , it lands on first 100 , 100
then does a blind transfer to 101 .. so that the caller can converse with
101 .. strangely enough the queue_log shows :
1253814090|1253814090.12|55365|NONE|ENTERQUEUE||98221232123

AGENTDUMP lines in queue.log????
Hi all,
I noticed that in queue.log I keep getting lines with AGENTDUMP like
this one
"1202044353|1202044326.152|AccountingQueue|Agent/1001|AGENTDUMP|"
I cannot find any other lines in the file regarding this call id, no
ENTERQUEUE or anything else. I just have this line with AGENTDUMP. Has
someone had the same problem? Why do I get these lines?
A small note: I have

Understanding queue timeouts + possible bug found
Hello list,
I have been researching a bit into the way the queue app works and how
different timeouts play together, and have prepared a short tutorial on
understanding queue timeouts - see
http://www.oinko.net/astrecipes/index.php?n=118 - any suggestion, error
found or correction is welcome.
While I was at it, I came across a strange bug: imageine you have three

Setting Caller ID for attended transfer
Hello list,
I'm sending calls to a queue in the attended way, that is, *1.* the original
call is put on hold, *2.* a second line is open to call the queue,
*3.*after an agent is connected the original call is transfered to its
final
destination.

Problem with Queue_log and CDR.
Good afternoon list.
I am facing a problem with the CDR and Queue_log tables (MySQL). The ABANDON
events is being saved correctly in queue_log, but in the table CDR is not
saving the registry of such abandoned calls.
Apparently the CDR table is functioning normally, I have several records of
links in it. From what I noticed, is only the events abandonment that are
malfunctioning.

Channel name in queue log replaced by a manager event?
Under 1.4.5 and 1.4.6, I've seen a few instances where the channel name in
queue log entries is replaced by a snippet of a manager event:

queue_log wrong?
Well, I'm writing yet another queue_log analyser program in PHP, and I
have noticed the following entry in my queue_log file from today:
1104796626|1104796618.532|queue|NONE|ENTERQUEUE||no
1104796664|1104796618.532|queue|NONE|EXITWITHTIMEOUT|1
So, pretty sure that I didn't make someone wait 30 minutes in my queue.

asterisk.conf uniquename or sysname for uniqueid field in CDR
I set uniquename = MYHOST in asterisk.conf (under
[options]) so that my uniqueid data shows up as
MYHOST.time.seq.
First of all, I would like to know if uniquename (or
sysname?) will still be valid across future * versions
(mainly 1.6).
Secondly, is there a way to specify uniquename as an
asterisk option at the command line? (asterisk -h
doesn't show me anything regarding this feature)

uniqueid - how unique it is
Hello,
a.. uniqueid: Unique Channel Identifier (32 characters)
I would like to know how is the unequeId constructed. ?
I need a primary key in cdr database and would like to know whether I can
make uniqueid the primary key. If asterisk channel does not have any idea
of previousely crated ID's and if this id is randomly crated number then
there is a chance that unequeid get a duplicate
