"Success" report with TDM400 and Via EPIA-MII motherboard
Hello!
In spite of a number of complaints, I have tried to use a TDM400 on a Via
EPIA-MII motherboard with a 1.2GHz C3 CPU. cpuinfo and interrupts are
included at the end of this e-mail. I have had no problems with it so far
that I can attribute to the computer. I have, though, had continual
problems with a certain telephone...
Anyway, this module currently has 3 x FXS modules and 1 x

VIA C3 Nehemiah Locks Up
Hello,
I've got an EPIA-M series motherboard in a system that has locked up
twice under random conditions. Nothing is logged to the console or logs,
the system just hangs.
The system is installed with CentOS 4.4 and running the 2.6.9-42.0.8.EL
i686 kernel. I am aware that older C3 processors had the CMOV problem,
but that is resolved in the later boards (procinfo below). I've seen a

Via Nano X2 Support?
Hi!
Recently got a Via VE-900 board from Fry''s. It has a via nano x2 chip on it, and suggests that it has Intel-compatible virtualization extensions. Has anyone worked with this board yet? I thought it would be nice to have a lower-powered, nearly silent Xen machine sitting on my desk.
I tried booting into Xen, but it said it didn''t recognize the processor. I can post

ZFS Uptime/Availability?
Question to ZFS users who have deployed ZFS in a Tier 1 application env - What uptime/availability are you seeing with ZFS? We are looking to deploy ZFS for Tier 1 data accessible over NFS.
Thanks.

ntlm auth and AD uptime
i get a big problem with authentication popups (with
squid) when the connection to my AD dies.
what options do i have to ensure less downtime when my
AD backend dies ?
i would like something that for example caches the
users credentials , while testing for AD availability
before coming back online.
my setup is
samba-winbind-3.0.20b-3.4
samba-3.0.20b-3.4
kerberos

Best Ferrups reporting uptime in minutes, not seconds
I had a power hiccup yesterday and a server connected to a Best Ferrups
18KVA shutdown. The problem is that the UPS is reporting remaining
runtime in minutes but nut treats it as seconds (so nut thought it only
had 46 seconds left).
Simple patch:
diff -urN nut-2.2.1-dist/drivers/bestfcom.c nut-2.2.1/drivers/bestfcom.c

Is there a way to get host uptime in remote libvirt
We manage hypervisors (VMWare ESXi/vCenter, KVM, XEN, Hyper-V) by remote Libvirt API, in our case we need to get the host uptime via the same libvirt interface. Is there a way get this info now for all the aforementioned hypervisor types?
The APIs virConnectGetSysinfo(), virNodeGetInfo() provide host info but it doesn't include the system uptime.
The virNodeGetCPUStats() can returns CPU

I did not find any further information with respect to this problem. It seems to
be a bug in HP's pututxline() implementation. From feedback it seems, that this
problem only affects 10.20, HP-UX 11 doesn't seem to have this problem.

Uptime/reliability with SER, Asterisk
Could anyone shed any light on how SER and/or Asterisk (stable branch)
has held up for them in that last while?
Are you using SER and/or * in a production environment? Do you ever
restart the software or reboot the system? How many users are
utilizing the system? How many calls per day/concurrently?
I read some uptimes and such on the mailing list from long ago, so I
was wondering what some more

show uptime and last reload
Hi,
I just upgraded from 1.2 to 1.4.
In 1.2, when I did a "show uptime" I used to see a
second line telling me the time since the last reload.
Has this been removed in 1.4?
The following is the output of my two test boxes:
Connected to Asterisk 1.4.18.1 currently running on
voip2 (pid = 10605)
Verbosity is at least 3
