raw parallel port access
After quite a few days of perusing wine doc/source/config/mailing lists, I have found very scant references to accessing the raw parallel ports using wine. I am running FC2 linux (up-to-date) and have confirmed I can access the parallel port (dongle) presented to VMWare running a Windows 2000 guest OS successfully ie. access to /dev/parport0 works. I can also run all the programs included with

Design functions after Multiple Imputation
I am a new user of R for Windows, enthusiast about the many functions of the Design and Hmisc libraries. I combined the results of a Cox regression model after multiple imputation (of missing values in some covariates). Now I got my vector of coefficients (and of standard errors). My question is: How could I use directly that vector to run programs such as 'nomogram', 'calibrate',

w32dasm - Windows Disassembler 32 - works, please update docs
According to http://www.winehq.com/site/docs/winedev-guide/wine-debugger "It seems that Windows Disassembler 32 currently has problems working correctly under Wine, so use IDA or GoVest." I tried it anyway, and it looked ok while it was disassembling my program. But then, when it finished disassembling, the window was made really tiny, and when I made the window regular-sized, the font

Language settings on wine...?
I'm trying to run a japanese .exe programme on wine but it won't display the jp characters even when I've set the locale to Japanese. The same situation for Chinese programmes... I've tried to place .ttf files for Japanese, Chinese and English fonts in the Fonts folder under drive_c but that wouldn't work too. Does it have anything to do with this page which I don't

Regression Testing Issue
I'm currently in the process of regression testing a bug (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19219). However, I ran into a problem that http://www.winehq.org/docs/winedev-guide/x1348 doesn't cover. Say a dev submits a series of patches that rely on each other for something, such as communications. While doing git bisect, some of those patches end up on opposite sides of the bisect.

registry settings in wine-0.9.17
Hi, I'm using software for chip programming. It is written for Windows operation systems. The software use direct access to LTP port. I have used old version of wine, which used the "config" file for configuration. This new version of wine-0.9.17 uses registry. What I need is to set the port numbers for the direct access. In the old version of wine it was: [ports]

dovecot 2.2.x and replication with dsync and shared / public namespace
Hi, I'm trying to configure replication with dsync on Dovecot 2.2.5 (and latest nightly). I did followed the guide at http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Replication But I can get dsync-server working only if my users do not have access to shared mailboxes and / or public mailboxes which is problematic for our setup. dsync-server is trying to create folders in public/ namespace :

Asterisk 1.4.11, res_features.so, SegFault
Hi All, I have a really strange issue occuring where if I run "show dialplan" or "dialplan show" or "dialplan show parkedcalls", then asterisk dumps core. It only appears to happen with contexts that are created within res_features. I am able to display all my other dialplans, but, every time I try to just do a normal "dialplan show" asterisk core dumps
