I found the dll, downloaded it (in windows) copied to system32, but this did not change the error message. What next?

dns9
HI: I am new to trying to use wine, so forgives stupid questions. I tried recently to use wine to install Dragon Naturally Speaking 9, using the instructions of Nancy Cragin. I am using PCLinuxOS and not ubuntu but none of the code seems to matter. First problem is that the disks would not completely copy to my home directory. There were several cab files that linux could not read or

Which Linux system to download?
Hey all, I'm from England and recently all of the 6th form students at my school was given a laptop for studies, meaning I got one. The thing is it's Linux so I'm having trouble opening a .exe Thankfully I came across Wine but the thing is I'm not sure what Linux system the laptop runs on. Here's a link to the laptop:

Unknown rootkit causes compromised servers
Here is the applicable article: http://www.linux.com/feature/125548 There are links in the above article that explain tests for the system and what is currently known about the rootkit. Apparently initial access is NOT via any vulnerability but just guessed root passwords. There are currently 2 methods to see if you are infected: 1. In some cases, the root kit causes you to not be able to

RE: SPA 3000 - UK Replacement
First off I am totally annoyed and let down by PC World Business (PCWB part of the Dixons Group). I ordered one of these babies from them over a month ago. After constantly chasing them up they finally told me they couldn't deliver, and have now only just returned the money they "stole" from me. I only bought from them because they showed a 4-day availability stock level! Now

Newbie
I am using Winamp, Icecast2 Server, and Edcast. I believe I have set these up properly so that I can set up and broadcast an internet radio station. These are the links I used to help me: https://www.pcworld.com/article/190705/start_your_own_internet_radio_station_for_free.html https://www.fastserv.com/kb/article/edcast_winamp_-_easy_steps_to_streaming_to_icecast_or_shoutcast/

Alleged bug in Silk codec
Hi Marcello, Thanks for the report. It's hard to debug this without the actual file. Can you please post the sweep_in.raw file you used? Doesn't ARMv6 have a dual signed 16x16->32 multiply with a 64-bit accumulator (SMLALD)? Even v5E should have a single 16x16->32 with a 64-bit

Do VAD work on silk?
It seems that VAD do not work on opus 1.1 version which is the newest released version . Disable SILK/CELT only?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 I believe what you want is called Opus custom (OPUS_CUSTOM in the code). With that you can compile only the contents of the celt/ directory and use it like the old CELT. Opus (or Silk) and E-Model
Hi-- I'd like to calculate the MOS score (or R-factor) using the ITU-T E-Model (see https://www.itu.int/ITU-T/studygroups/com12/emodelv1/tut.htm) for Opus and/or Silk codecs: - Opus NB, MB, WD, and SWB - SILK NB, MB, WD, and SWB However, some of the required parameters are missing, in particular: - Bpl: packet loss robustness factor and - Ie-eff: equipment impairment factor Does

[Aarch64 v2 05/18] Add Neon intrinsics for Silk noise shape quantization.
Hi Jonathan. I really, really hate to bring this up this late in the game, but I just noticed that your NEON code doesn't use any of the "high" intrinsics for ARM64, e.g. instead of: int32x4_t coef1 = vmovl_s16(vget_high_s16(coef16)); you could use: int32x4_t coef1 = vmovl_high_s16(coef16); and instead of: int64x2_t b1 = vmlal_s32(b0, vget_high_s32(a0), vget_high_s32(coef0));

Confusion on CELT or Silk
Hello All, Based on reading the documentation and some online resources, it seems that there are 2 codecs CELT and SILK. However when calling opus_encode* API, it is not clear which of the two are used? Is there a specific mode to be selected to use one or the other?
