I personally use Snapanumber $30 or there abouts (after trialing a few
other TAPI solutions and finding them sub-par) and think it's a great
product but interesting to see how more people are expecting
desktop/phone integration applications.
Does anyone

I need a country, state, city database for a web application.
Anyone have a free version they can email (or drop.io) for me?
Looking for something like this at $197 but may as well ask in case you

Outlook integration?
Hey, all. I was just wondering if there were any
tools/utilities/what-have-you out there that would allow a user to click
on a contact in Outlook, and have their phone dial it? (Or, I guess, have
Asterisk dial both their phone and the destination number, and put the two
into a conference.)
Thanks!

Not related to asterisk: but I figured someone here would have used them
before?
Has anyone tried http://www.wcell.com/ab/ZnJpZW5kLzEwNjI= yet?
Looks like they have a voip app for your mobile handset sending voice
calls out over your data service or wifi for 1c per minute calls both in
the USA and internationally.
Wondering if i should sign up with them for my trip to Australia

I didn't see it posted on the ast-list, what do you think? Does
something like this have potential?
I'd love to listen in on one of these calls to see how it actually
sounds if someone builds a trial

Click-to-dial CTI for Windows
Hello guys,
Is there a decent click-to-dial CTI which works well with Asterisk?
We have vanilla asterisk implementation and I have tried a few (ADA,
Outcall etc) but they have poor documentation and don't work very well.
We are looking for an application which can allow us to dial a number
from Outlook and IE/Firefox for outbound calls and get a pop-up for
inbound calls with call history

Live Support function?
Hi guys,
I'd like to add a LIVE SUPPORT function to my website.
Basically I want a client on my desktop that pops up when someone
request help BUT doesn't appear or says offline when I'm not available
or have logged out of this function.
When a person visiting my website has a question they hot the button to
cause a text popup chat to occur.
Anyone know of an open source

Twitter is Suing me!!!
This isn't asterisk related but I figure several developers on this list
have built apps for Twitter (or other 3rd party API's).
Just found out a few hours ago I'm being sued by Twitter
Feel free to tweet this link ( www.MyTwitterButler.com/I'm_Being_Sued

Global videoconferencing solution.
Hello everybody, i am searching a solution for a videoconferencing, Any
solution (Free/commercial). Asterisk is a great software, but recently we
have more and more demands about videoconferencing of 3 or more peoples,
Existing solutions are heavy and costly, around 2500? for 1 client. This is

The skype channel...
Hello everyone!
Perhaps I missed something: But where can one download the beta-version of
the new asterisk skype channel? Can it work with 1.6.0-beta9?
I tried to browse the digium downloads, but it's dificult, if you're blind
and only have a text-based (almost no javscript) browser.
Thanks for any good hints and pointers!
Kindest regards
