load test docker images?
Has anyone created any docker images I might be able to use on EC2 for
load testing an asterisk platform? I started an instance this morning
and was about to load sipp and other tools, and then thought surely
someone must have done this already. I'd like to hammer a platform we
have created with multiple EC2 images until it breaks, to test capacity.
Cheers,

Lattice device page options-margins
I am using lattice to make figures as pdfs:
trellis.device(device = "pdf",file = "Figure6.pdf",color = FALSE)
I need to specify some blank space on the left-hand margins (the pages
will be bound so we need about 0.5 inch)). I have tried a number of
solutions but none seems to work (e.g. par.set). Can this be done when
initiating the plotting device? Or is the some other way

code problem with the optim() function
Please forgive me if someone has seen this duplicated email, because I sent
the email to the wrong address just now.
Hi, all,
I'm estimating an inter-rater coefficient, Aickin (1990)'s alpha. It's been
a long time for me to figure out how to make it work, but it's still of no
avail. The problem seems to be my code with the optim() function. Can
anyone help me take a look at the

logic inside a view file
I am quite certain I have heard it said not to put business logic inside
view code but I have a report that I want to display 3 different
possibilities of text based upon the value of a column. Would I just
take the same type of if/then logic that I would use in a controller and
put it inside erb <%= %> stuff?

Resampler set_rate improvements
Hi,
These patches improve the resampler set_rate function.
The first 2 patches do some cleanups in the GCD calculation and avoid an
overflow when calculating the new phase. This patch could probably be
simplified
if we allowed 64bits operations in speexdsp.
The 3rd patch avoid rounding errors in the phase calculation. The problem
is that the new rate is calculated with the reduced rate, which

Merge data frame and keep unmatched
Hi,
With two data sets, one complete and another one partial, I would like to
merge them and keep the unmatched lines. The problem is that merge() dosen't
keep the unmatched lines. Is there another function that I could use to
merge the data frames.
Example:
completedf <- expand.grid(alpha=letters[1:3],beta=1:3)
partdf <- data.frame(
alpha= c('a','a','c'),

LoadAvg , Codec and Bandwidth Utilisation
1) If I see the Loadavg more than 4 , whats the immediate solution to get it
under 1 APART from restarting the server ?
2) I get too much of cross connections.
Can Codec be the culprit ? I use g729. Can using GSM will solve the problem
? What could be the other reasons ?
3) Anyway to measure the bandwidth utilisation from the server ?

Type unmatched after replacing functions
Hi all,
I am trying to merge functions with the same debug location by
using replaceAllUsesWith().
However, this leads to type unmatched problems because the
functions with the same debug location can have different parameters.
An example is foo(struct A) can be compiled to foo.1(struct A.1) and
foo.2(struct A.2).
I have inserted CastInst to solve the problems of arguments and return
values type

Should subsetting named vector return named vector including named unmatched elements?
Subsetting vector (including lists) returns the same number of elements
as the subsetting vector, including unmatched elements which are
reported as `NA` or `NULL` (in case of lists).
Consider:
```
menu = list(
? "bacon" = "foo",
? "eggs" = "bar",
? "beans" = "baz"
? )
select = c("bacon", "eggs",
Logwatch reporting spamassassin messages as unmatched entries
I've recently switched to using spamassassin via a sendmail milter,
rather than using procmail to invoke it. This means that I get a number
of messages appearing in my maillog, and then being reported by logwatch
as unmatched entries.
An example of such a messages is:
Finding unmatched data between two dataframe using several factors
Hi R users
I am trying to find unmatched data from two dataframes. I would like to
find unmatched data based on several factors. For the following data:
dat1 <- data.frame(x = paste("A", 1:6, sep=""),
y = c("andy","bob","ciaran","dan", "eion",
"fred"))
