Linksys SPA922 - hangup problem
Hi all, I'm testing Linksys SPA922 phone and I have strange issue. when call is finished on the phone I see "CallEnded" and normal silence for cca. 5 seconds and then I get fast busy for cca. 20 sec. So, this isn't automatic hangup as on other phones I have tried (Cisco 7940, grandstream, XLite,... ) and I have to manually hangup handset to finish a call. Is this normal behavior

t38 iax trunk
Hi all, I have a question regarding using T38 for fax sending and here is my scenario: fax -> SIP ATA (T38 enabled) -> Asterisk #1 -> IAX TRUNK -> Asterisk #2 -> SIP ATA (T38 enabled) -> fax My question is, how can I know if I'm really using T38? is T38 information coming to the other side (because of SIP to IAX conversion) or just plain g711a data? I'm using Linksys

Drag and drop problem if Droppable zones overlap
Hello, The question is related to Droppables and Draggable. I''m creating a splitter component with a DIV that acts as the splitter and 2 DIV zones that are the splitted zone. To do so I use the Droppables and Draggable in conjunction. The splitter DIV is a Draggable component and I define 2 Droppable zones for the splitter DIV (Zone A and B on each side of the splitter) It works fine

In-band disconnect problem (legacy PBX) - asterisk doesn't hear t he touchtone?
The legacy PBX I'm working with does in-band disconnect notification -- it sends a * touchtone when the line is hung up. I've been trying to get this to work with Asterisk. I added a * extension to my menu context that plays "Goodbye" and hangs up. This works fine if I manually press *, but it never triggers when I hang up and the PBX sends it. I've plugged in an analog

wxruby2-preview Gauge and wx-sugar with SplitterWindow
First of all, just wanted to say big thanks for all the great work on wxruby2 .. I''ve been a user of 0.6 for a long time and its proved very useful over the years. It''s great to finally have a multi-platform, gem installable ui toolkit that doesn''t suck! Secondly, thanks also for wx-sugar. I was drowning in sizers and started to write my own layout library ... but

Many improvements and a few problems
Hi, I must say I'm very impressed with improvments in the latest versions of the encoder, especially in 2-pass mode. I was trying encodes of videos with sudden changes from no or moderate motion, to high motion scenes. Most samples of Theora quality I saw on the net were very slow motion usually. These high-motion videos were especially hard for Theora and it quickly introduced

Reading huge chunks of data from MySQL into Windows R
Dear List, I'm trying to use R under Windows on a huge database in MySQL via ODBC (technical reasons for this...). Now I want to read tables with some 160.000.000 entries into R. I would be lucky if anyone out there has some good hints what to consider concerning memory management. I'm not sure about the best methods reading such huge files into R. for the moment I spilt the whole

SEL_UPDATE not responsive
I have read what I could about SEL_UPDATE and I understand that the block(s) that get called "from" SEL_UPDATE only get called when "there is no more work to do". I took the splitter.rb example that comes with FXRuby. I put in a "puts" in one of the SEL_UPDATE blocks and I get about 4 a second. Not awful ... but ... why is it so slow? In my code which is ... more

FXSplitter width is 1 until created
Why is the width of an FXSplitter equal to 1 before the FXSplitter#create method is called? My splitter is configured to have LAYOUT_FILL_X, so wouldn''t its width be determined before its children were created? It''s not really a big deal, but I was configuring the split based on a preferences file during initialize, and couldn''t make it work properly. Doing it in

Handling 8GB .txt file in R?
Hi, I am mediocre at R, maybe 1000 hours experience, but I received an 8GB dataset and I don't know what to do with it. I have to do extensive analysis over it for my Honours thesis. I can't even import it. I've tried; - Splitting it up using the free csv-splitter-1.1.zip that seems to be working for everyone else (it doesn't work for me, it just outputs 1 single line). -

Theora DirectShow component questions - help!
I followed the directions on the Theora website to download the .ax file and the Visual Studio project to build the DLL. I then registered the ax file using the regsvr32 tool. Then I started up the DirectShow tool called 'GraphEdit' where you can see all the installed DirectShow filters and create the filter graphs. In the list of all DS filters, I could find the following 3 filters:

problems with strsplit using a split of ' \\\ ' : a regex problem
I have a vector of gene symbols, some of which have multiple aliases. In the case of an alias, they are separated by ' \\\ '. Here is a real world example, which would represent one element of my vector: Eif4g2 /// Eif4g2-ps1 /// LOC678831 What I would like to do is input the vector into a function and output a vector with just the first alias of each element (or, if there are no aliases,

[RFC] Machine Function Splitter - Split out cold blocks from machine functions using profile data
Greetings, We present “Machine Function Splitter”, a codegen optimization pass which splits functions into hot and cold parts. This pass leverages the basic block sections feature recently introduced in LLVM from the Propeller project. The pass targets functions with profile coverage, identifies cold blocks and moves them to a separate section. The linker groups all cold blocks across functions

st1000spex ethernet card and centos 6.2
Dear List, I am still having difficulty installing a second ethernet card in a new CentOS 6.2 install. Tom Bishop was kind enough to give me an excellent link to figure out how to change the device names the way I need to have them. It looks to me that CentOS is recognizing the st1000spex card from StarTech but I am unable to get data to go in or out of it. The StarTech manual for this card
