Printer Errors with 3.0 Alpha 17
I'm testing Samba 3.0 Alpha 17 on Suse 8.0 (but on the 7.3 is the same).
I'm shared all the printers of the server for all the users of the
domain, but the clients keep the two following messagges:
1. "Not eought memory to execute the command"
2. "Bad printer name"
If I try to connect from DOS I got no problem, and I print good.
Somebody got any idea? the patch for the

ip rule, fwmark, mangle and src IP
I made a script to test if in a moultiple gateway setup all default

Suppose adsl1 and adsl2 are present, and all traffic goes by default to
adsl1, and you want to test if adsl2 is ok.
1. I use mangles from iptables to mark icmp packets to some test machines
2. I set up a routing table for each adsl

I need help for creating a "timevar"
Hi all!
I have data in ?Long? format which I would like to reshape to ?Wide?. I know
that one possibility is the ?reshape? command, which needs a ?timevar?.
Data look as follows: There are approx. 3000 persons (?IDENTITY?) and, for
each person, there are between 2 and 20 events (?EVENT?). For now, there's
one row for each event (9506 rows)

Store/product stock design question
Hi all,
I''m having trouble figuring out how to handle stock levels in a new
store I''m building. When products are entered into the admin of the
store, they have a stock number associated with them.
What I''m not sure about, is how I go about maintaining this stock
level. Take this scenario:
1. User A adds an item to their cart, and I check that it''s in stock -

binding message from R CMD check
When I run R CMD check on the survival package I get one error message that I
have not been able to figure out:
survfitCI: no visible binding for global variable 'n.nevent'
I've examined the code and can't see the problem -- the variable in question
appears several times. Is there as way to find out EXACTLY what line it objects
to?

Detecting Events in queues
Hi everybody,
I would like to know how can I detect events in queues. For example when
an operator answers a call which was in a queue I would like to some
informations related to the caller (quote from the database) to the
operator. I saw these events in queuelog.conf but i don't know how to
retrieve them in my AGI.
Thanks for any help

Backports to 1.2.14 of 1.4.0 app_queue features.
Nothing much to be said.. I backported ringinuse, autofill and the QueueLog
application from 1.4.0 to 1.2.14. Any or all may be applied - order doesn't
matter.
They have received minimal testing but appear to function correctly. As always
with these things, don't blame me if they connect your callers to a phonesex
line, etc.

Cheers,
Gavin.

It sounds like you've got quite the queue setup (although I don't quite
see why your calls jump out and back into the moh queue). All the of

application call to Gosub affects flow of control, and needs to be re-written using AEL
Hi,
For some reason (outbound call tracking) I've got a few different
outbound call process (using a macro for queuemetrics logging, or direct
call)
i wanted to factorise the routing process so i came up with something
like the following. All in one it's working like expected, however
every "ael reload" command trigger a lot of warning like that

covariate selection in cox model (counting process)
Hello everyone,
I am searching for a covariate selection procedure in a cox model formulated
as a counting process.
I use intervals, my formula looks like coxph(Surv(start, stop, status)~
x1+x2+...+cluster(id),robust=T) where id is a country code (I study
occurence of civil wars from 1962 to 1997).
I'd like something not based on p-values, since they have several flaws for
this purpose.

Why is CDR(recordingfile) not being written to the database despite being set in the dialplan?
I am using Asterisk 11.17.1 with my program that uses AMI Originate calls to generate a bunch of calls for a callcenter. The PBX configuration is handled by FreePBX 2.11. I want to understand the dialplan behavior in order to figure out why the
CDR(recordingfile) is blank on the CDR records despite the dialplan setting it.
My program generates the calls by setting Channel=Local/NUMBERTODIAL at

Extract BIC for coxph
Dear all,
is there a function similar to extractAIC based on which I can extract the
BIC (Bayesian Information Criterion) of a coxph model?
I found some functions that provide BIC in other packages, but none of them
seems to work with coxph.
Thanks,
Michael

Can't get password policies (bad lockout attempt) to work on Samaba 3 + OpenLDAP
Hi,
I have a Debian stable (woody aka 3.0) machine. I am moving my
existing samba 2.x installation (that has users stored in smbpasswd)
to samba 3.0.4 with LDAP as the backend. I am able to move the users
to LDAP just fine. However, the password policy of bad lockout
attempt does not seem to work.
I installed the samba deb file from the samab.org site. I also have

data manipulation in R
Dear List:
I have a data manipulation problem that I was unable
to solve in R. I did it in SQL, and it may be that
the solution in R is to do it in SQL, but I wondered
if people could imagine a vector-based solution.
Imagine a list A[i] of observers who observe some set
of events B[j]. Each observer i may observe one or
more events, and each event j may have been observed
by one or more
