Saturday, June 2nd - reductivelabs.com scheduled maintenance
To our friends in Europe — good news, the website is getting closer!
Things appear to be on schedule for the first phase of our server
migration, which we plan to implement in the late evening, Saturday,
June 2nd.
In order to ensure the data we are moving won't change while we move
it, the following services will be unavailable from 23:00 CST on June

[fdo] Downtime on annarchy for maintenance 2013-07-27
Hi,
Annarchy needs more disk space fairly urgently, so I will take the host
down and add some more disk space tomorrow, Saturday. Work will start
approximately 17 UTC. I hope it will be fairly brief, less than an
hour, but it might take longer if we run into problems
Please get in touch on #freedesktop if you have any questions or if this
is a problem for you.
Regards,

Thanks!
I shall close https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63808 then.
Out of curiosity, is there a better place to report such things to fdo
sysadmins than bugzilla, the sitewranglers list, and IRC?
Cheers

[LLVMdev] LLVM Web/SVN Server Downtime
Dear All,
The llvm.org server will be down for about 15 minutes starting at 10 am
CST on Friday. Our IT people will be replacing a bad RAM module.
If there's any serious problem with doing the RAM replacement at 10 am,
please email llvmdev. I picked 10 am because I'd like the RAM module
replaced ASAP, and I doubt 10 am tomorrow will be a problem.

Appropriateness of survdiff {survival} for non-censored data
I read through Harrington and Fleming (1982) but it is beyond my
statistical comprehension. I have survival data for insects that have
a very finite expiration date. I'm trying to test for differences in
survival distributions between different groups. I understand that
the medical field is most often dealing with censored data and that
survival analysis, at least in the package survival,

New mailing list: digium-announce
Recently it was brought to our attention that while we announce new
releases of Asterisk and Asterisk-Addons on the asterisk-announce
mailing list (and others), and we publish security advisories on the
asterisk-announce and asterisk-security mailing lists (and others),
there are frequently changes that are made in our policies, procedures,
and products that do not get announced on any widely-read

Calculation of lags
Hi,
If I have the follow situation:
A dependent variable (i.e. number of insects) that is affected by an
independent variable (i.e. rain). The problem is that the measure of rain
affect the population in other moment. So there exit a lag between the rain
and the number of insects. Exist in R any tool to find what is this lag?
Explain better.
Suppose that I have a linear relationship

Hi,
I have a small simple data frame (attached) - to compare diversity of
insects encountered in disturbed and unditurbed site. What i have is
the count of insects - the total number of times they were encountered
over 30 monitoring slots.
Can someone please check for me to make sure how the 'community data
matrix' for the diversity function needs to be oriented so that i'm

WineHQ.com server crash
On 10:00:12 CST the wine.codeweavers.com a.k.a www.winehq.com server
suffered catastrophic hardware failure. The power supply suddenly
decided of its own free will that the motherboard and all of the
attached components needed 3x the recommended voltage (or something).
wine.codeweavers.com (ver 3.0) on-line and operational. Sorry for the
inconvenience of downtime.
