Sendmail with exchange
I am using Asterisk to send Voicemail out as Email. I am running into a problem I believe to be caused by the exchange server requiring SMTP authentication. I cannot get the sys admin's to turn it off. Does anyone know enough about sendmail to help me. I am assuming that the default mail client is sendmail. It will also send to other non-SMTP authenticated servers. Your help is much

Setting up sendmail to mail system messages on CentOS 6 and 7
Hi all, I've previously configured sendmail to send system messages on selected servers running CentOS 6. Usually they just kinda' work out of the box. No problems to speak of. However most of my CentOS 7-servers are rather flakey when it comes to sendmail. Most of the time they just won't send mails for whatever reason. Further, most of the time I can get it working, it's

Not receiving voicemail message in mailbox
It should be as simple as editing voicemail.conf : ; Voicemail Configuration ; [general] ; Formats for writing Voicemail. Note that when using IMAP storage for ; voicemail, only the first format specified will be used. format=wav49|wav|gsm ; Who the e-mail notification should appear to come from serveremail=asterisk-voicemail ; Should the email contain the voicemail as an attachment attach=yes ;

AstDB/Berkely DB - Hash function? Balanced-Tree? b-Tree? Linked List?
Does anyone know enough about the implementation of AstDB to know whether the data structure is a Hash function, a Balanced-Tree, a b-Tree, or a Linked List? I'm trying to estimate the lookup 'cost' of a AstDB with around 160,000 keys? Obviously I already know that it WILL WORK, but the question is whether the data structure is optimal in the Berkeley DB AS IMPLEMENTED in Asterisk.

Actionmailer sending many emails in same SMTP connection?
Hi, I need to implement a mailing list system, Actionmailer is great, but i haven''t found out a way to send many (hundreds of) emails without having to reconnect to the SMTP server for each mail when calling Mymailer::deliver_my_mail(recipient) Any tips? (Possibly without calling directly Net::SMTP, so i can take advantage of the rhtml rendering of the body) Thanks, Best regards,

nullmailer recommendations
Just wondering what people tend to use for nullmailers on their centos boxes (i.e. a minimal outgoing-only MTA)? I guess the obvious solution is a minimal postfix config, but that seems reasonably heavyweight and easy to misconfigure - is there anything lighter floating around the centos universe? sendmail and relaying
I think my sendmail is not correctly set. It says the default is to disallow relaying. I am running centos 4.8 and I think sendmail is relaying for anything. Based on this: http://www.sendmail.org/~ca/email/chk-89f.html#RELAYING I added|: FEATURE(relay_hosts_only) to my sendmail.mc file and restarted sendmail. I am still seeing connects that get relayed and are not in my /etc/mail/access

I've not been able to connect to my ups using NUT 2.7.4 or NUT 2.8.0. 2.7.4 was installed as a package, 2.8.O was compiled from source. msmtp not running in upssched-cmd
Msmtp is not sending messages when invoked from upssched-cmd. I can manually invoke it from the command line. There is a 's' instead of an 'x' in the ls -l. Might this be some sort of permission problem? upsmon.conf has run user as root. Dan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Selective Sendmail Relaying.
Hi all, I've been trying to hit on the right configuration combo to allow relaying from specific users and/or domains to an internal box running Sendmail. Reading the docs at http://www.sendmail.org/m4/anti_spam.html#relay and http://www.sendmail.org/m4/anti_spam.html#access_db_fine I would appear that I should be able to all per-address relaying in /etc/mail/access by enabling

configuring sendmail to work with dovecot+LDAP
I would like to setup dovecot (1.1.20) with LDAP virtual users, but I don't seem to understand how to get my sendmail to accept mail for the virtual users. (I am rather new to this, so I may have some misunderstandings) I have followed - wiki.dovecot.org/HowTo/DovecotOpenLdap (OpenLDAP 2.3.43) and I think I have IMAP working for virtual users. I can connect to port 143, enter a username and
