Snom 320 HOLD and TRANSFER not detected
I have a preoblem with my snom 320 phones. I have 5 snom phones installed and all of them have 5.2 firmware. All have same settings in the advanced panel. On 2 phones when I press the hold or transfer key nothing happens and * does not start the musiconhold. In the The hold and transfer keys are set as F_R and F_TRANSFER correctly as the others. Other snoms and gxp-2000 work ok. Any ideas?

asterisk call parking + SNOM lighted buttons?
I'm trying to get call parking working with the lighted buttons on the SNOM 200. I have set the 5 buttons to "Park Orbit", for extensions 700-704. Pressing the first button (x700) does park the call. However, the remaining buttons (x701-704) don't allow me to pick up parked calls, or show parking status via the LEDs. I can only pick up parked calling by manually dialing the

Snom 200 Programmable Keys
I would like to use one of my Snom 200's 5 programmable keys to park calls. I am using image SIP 2.04g. I have tried a variety of combinations and have come to the conclusion that: 1) On the Key Mappings administration page, I must select the "Transfer" under the "Break Keys" option box to be able to successfully transfer calls using the "Transfer" button. 2)

sporadic one-way audio
We have several offices running Asterisk version 1.4.20.1, and OSLEC with Rhino R4FXO-EC and one running a Digium TDM800P card for interface to analog lines. All offices are running Snom 300 phones. Phones all have static addresses and are on the same physical network as the server. The problem we are having is that every so often we get someone calling in where we can hear their voice,

SNOM 360 and parking
OK, last showstopper that I just can't puzzle my way through - parking calls with the snom phones. I get the two phones connected, I hit transfer on one, the other phone goes to MOH and the first phone gives me DT, so I dial 700 and hit the OK button. Call transferred, the SNOM hangs up before I have a chance to hear which extension it parked to. Is there a way to make the SNOM phones

Multiple parking lots use default park positions
Hello, all. I'm having a deeply frustrating time getting multiple parking lots to work and am wondering what I am doing wrong. I am using Asterisk 1.6.1.1. I defined two separate parking lots in features.conf as follows: [parkinglot_a100] ; SSI context => a100-parking parkpos => 900-920 findslot => next [parkinglot_a10] ; EBC context => a10-parking parkpos => 800-820

Parking a call a second time using #700..
Hi all, Is there anyway you get Asterisk to let you park a call a second time via pressing the # key + 700 (or whatever is in features.conf) ? If you get a call out of the parking lot & hit # again it just sends the DTMF tone down the line and nothing happens.. A few posts have hinted that you cannot blind transfer a parked call, but surely there must be some way around this as I can

snom 200 and call parking?
Has anyone used the programmable buttons on the SNOM 200 with Asterisk call parking? Do they work "nicely" together - i.e., do the LEDs show which parking spots are in use, and does the press-to-park button function work? - Mike

Snom 300 Echo
We're deploying an asterisk-based phone system at all of our branch offices in an effort to eliminate long-distance costs incurred from the constant branch to branch calls. We're using the Snom 300's at all offices for the desk phones and X100P cards to interface to 2 analog lines. I'm having a problem tuning all the echo out of the system. So far two branches are using the

Park and PARKINGDYNAMIC
I have been trying to get the dynamic parking working. For some reason when I park a call using this method the console says it is using the default parking context not the one I am trying to specidfy. It also is playing the parked extension to the caller. I am transfering the call to an extension that is doing a goto to the context below. Any ideas or examples on how to make this work.

Sticky Park
My company for various reasons has asked that I come up with a way to have previously parked calls be re-parked in the same parking slot. I have looked at setting up asterisk so that the receptionist chooses which slot to place a call, but I think there is an easier way. That is when I came up with the idea of "Sticky Park". Here is how it would work. A call would come in and

Park & No Announce?
We're using Grandstream GXP-2000 with programmed buttons to the first 5 parking lot extensions. When a call is parked, whichever parking lot extension it's parked on lights up red. We've never used the "announce" part and I'm wondering if there's an option I can't seem to find to disable the announce so the transfer happens faster. Thanks for any help, Ken

Delay after Answer
I am having an issue with a couple of phones where they ring, but there is a long delay after the phone is picked up before the audio starts. My setup: * Server running Asterisk 13.9.1, Dahdi 2.11.1 w/ OSLEC * Server is CentOS 7 * Quad core CPU with 16GB Ram * 2 Snom 300 phones. * NO NAT. Server and phone are on the same subnet with only a gigabit switch between them. * Digium

Delay after Answer
Well, I thought I had the problem solved. Ported everything over to PJSip and build RDNS records for the phones and the server, but I am still experiencing the problem on incoming calls. ** On 6/7/2016 1:00 PM, Faheem Muhammad wrote: > I've faced the same issue. How to park calls on a specific extension
Currently at our office, if I want someone else to pick up a call, I have to transfer the call to them. So I'm looking into call parking, which is ALMOST perfect. The missing piece of the puzzle: I'm extension 203. I want any call I park to get parked at extension 2203. I want a call my boss parks to park at 2205, since he's ext. 205. In other words, I want calls parked FROM

Music on hold, Call Parking, etc
Ok, this falls under the newbie category: Has anybody created any documentation on using musiconhold or call parking? I have found sample config files for musiconhold, but I'm not sure how they work. [musiconhold.conf] [classes] loud=>mp3:/var/lib/asteriks/mohmp3 How do I then set up this feature in extensions.conf? I can't seem to find an example of what I'm looking for (or I

Sporadic One Way Audio
I'm having an unusual problem at one of my branch offices. Every now and then they will make a call and the person they call is unable to hear them, but they are able to hear the person. The Asterisk server has only one ethernet interface and is on the same physical network as the 2 snom 300 phones and is connected to the PSTN lines with a Rhino R4FXO-EC card. Usually hanging up and

Audio cut-outs
I'm having an issue with some Snom 300s on a server running Asterisk version 13.9.1, Dahdi 2.11.1 w/OSLEC and pjsip 2.5.1. There is _*NO NAT*_ involved. Phones and server are plugged into the same network switch, all on the same IP range. The server is running a Wildcard AEX410 analog card with 2 FXO modules receiving incoming analog lines. Occasionally, in the middle of a call, the
