CallWaiting CallerID
Hi all,
In order to get the CallerID from PSTN (X100P) I have modified callerid.c
file like that:
callerid.c [line 256]
from:
case 3: /* Number (for Zebble) */
to
/*case 3: Number (for Zebble) */
Without this modification my own number was displayed as the inoming call

Now I want to go further.
I have activated CallWaiting support on the POTS line.

TDM400p FXS not sending caller id info?
I have a Digium TDM400p (1 FXO, 1 FXS) with the FXS module connected to
a standard analog handset with caller id display (US caller ID).
Although it appears that caller id information is coming into asterisk
(it shows up in voicemail), I can not get it to display on the analog
handset.
Is there anything special I need to do to send the caller id info out
the FXS port? I've tried a few

debugging callerid help
I've got a rather strange callerid problem and don't know how to debug it.
I've got two X100P cards installed in a RH9 box and both are connected to
individual pstn pots lines. Both are equipped with callerid and both display
callerid info on regular analog phones (verified 100%). Incoming and outgoing
calls are handled just fine.
When an incoming call arrives on one X100P card, *

Is there any other suggestions,

Asterisk, she no hang uppa the phone!
I've been working on the local side of asterisk for several days, and I have
the in-house dial plan pretty well corn fingered to my satisfaction.
Today I began working on the other side to make asterisk do things like place
an outgoing call to PSTN and route an incoming call from PSTN.
I'm using a TDM11B with a single fxs and a single fxo. My analog handset is

ISDN phone not ringing. ISDN PBX not answering?!
Hi,
I've set up an Asterisk as voip gatway:
VOIP <-> Asterisk <-> hfc-s card <-> NTBA <-> Siemens Gigaset Dect ISDN pbx.
Outgoing calls from dect handset to the world are working. Incoming calls don't even ring the handset.
I'm using the dahdi driver with the zaphfc kernel module. The hfc-s card is in nt mode.
The msn is set at the dect phone/base station

I've been trying to wrap my mind around this one for several days now.
How can I 'debug' the CallerID reception on a Zap/POTS channel? I have
a POTS line with CallerID and a Digium TDM11B card right now. I have my
signalling set to ks for both sides, can make and receive calls just
fine. But I never get CallerID on incoming calls. I get the following

Call Waiting CallerID not showing up
Hi All,
According to the wiki, we need to have both callwaiting=yes and
callwaitingcallerid=yes , and that's what I have in zapata.conf.
I can hear the call waiting alert tone when a 2nd call comes in during
an established call, and I can switch between the calls without
problems. However, CallerID on the 2nd call does not show up with the
call waithing alert tones.
Can anyone help?

some problems with asterisk and E1
Hi,
I am using asterisk 1.2.5 and have some problems with asterisk connected with
an E1 card to our PRI. Dialling in and out generally works. When someone dials
in from a mobile phone, all numbers are sent as a block, and the called
extension rings as intended. when someone picks up his phone handset, waits
for a dial tone, and then dials in manually, the call will be redirected to

TDM-400P + CallerID
Hi,
I'm just starting out with Asterisk, in combination with a TDM400,
filled with 2 FXS on channels 1 and 2, and 1 FXO on 4. Having just
started, all I want right now is to be able to answer incoming calls on
a phone connected to channel 1. The trouble is the caller id. I have
caller id enabled on my line, my phone supports it, and when I connect
the phone directly to the line, it works.

I do not know why the calledID is not receibed. All this FXO ports are

I'm trying to get a Cisco 7905g IP Phone to work with our Asterisk

I have got the phone to register with * and it retrieves it's extension
