Listener stats
What about scrapping the access logs for connections that have completed, or utilizing netstat outputs to get active listeners (minus sources)? Either of those options would get you remote IP addresses, both a slightly different view in that logs are after a connection closes, while netstat is while the connection is open. -----Original Message----- From: Icecast-dev <icecast-dev-bounces at

That sounds like a bad deal, or else my math is wrong. That comes out to 9Mbps per second here. Math: 3000GB * 8 bits/byte divided by 86400 sec/day * 30 days At one time (maybe bandwidth prices have

Clients, not always connecting since about 2.4.1, 2.4.2.
I'll get around to putting Wireshark on and seeing what's going on, perhaps someone else has already noticed this: Since I upgraded to 2.4.2 Win32 (used to use a kh branch version previously) and then on to 2.4.4 Win32, I've been noticing clients don't always connect successfully. VLC or Muses player does this out of every dozen connection attempts, sometimes as few as 2 or 3.

Hello, I just can't seem to get the MusicOnHold function to work out ok. I' managed to get the MP3Player app to work out fine, but when I run the MusicOnHold all i get is siliece. I can see that Asterisk executes mpg123 properly (I think) #ps axuww|grep mp gk 4383 0.0 0.4 3736 552 pts/4 S 15:06 0:00 /usr/bin/mpg123 -q -s --mono -r 8000 -b 2048 -f 8192 sample-hold.mp3

I think I got it. I needed to change the following: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/admin/listclients.xsl?mount=/mountpoint to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/admin/listclients?mount=/mountpoint and that gives me the XML. No need to change or modify anything. Now how do I get the json as I prefer json? Reaz > On Sep 22, 2020, at 1:51 PM, Reaz Baksh <reaz at dhantal.com> wrote: > >

Limit MOH processes
You could try to use the native mp3 support for MOH if you really want mp3 support. It is a lot better than using mpg123 IMHO. mpg123 kept doing nasty things to my system :) See http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk%20config%20musicon hold.conf there is a section about the native support. can't get musiconhold to work
I can't seem to get musiconhold to work. I'm running asterisk on a RH9 box, I have the mpg123 package installed. In my zapata.conf file I have the line MusicOnHold=default . In my musiconhold.conf file, in the classes section I uncommented default and loud. In my extensions.conf file I have a set musiconhold line. However if I get a call and I either put it on hold or hit flash

Music on hold, Call Parking, etc
Ok, this falls under the newbie category: Has anybody created any documentation on using musiconhold or call parking? I have found sample config files for musiconhold, but I'm not sure how they work. [musiconhold.conf] [classes] loud=>mp3:/var/lib/asteriks/mohmp3 How do I then set up this feature in extensions.conf? I can't seem to find an example of what I'm looking for (or I
