unable to compile
I am still trying to run Turbocad Le under wine (see earlier post http://groups.google.ca/group/comp.emulators.ms-windows.wine/browse_thread/thread/2abfa5ba1de237d3/05ad0098dae2ca05?q=crashedagain&rnum=8#05ad0098dae2ca05) I have discovered it will run under version 20040121 or older but has errors with later versions. 20040121 .deb package must be forced installed because of a libc6 version

Wine-1.3.11 will not compile for me
http://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com Dear All, I've been using Wine happily on my Linux server for quite some years now. Even wine-1.3.9 has compiled without any issues whatsoever. But ever since yesterday, when I tried to compile the latest version 1.3.11 I'm stuck and don't know how to help myself. Please give me some ideas. As usual, I started compiling wine by

WINE install Error
I need some help. I have downloaded the latest WINE tarball (731) and managed to get through the ./configure stage, installing rpms as needed. However, when WINE installs it gives me these set of errors: "cd `dirname wrc/__depend__` && make depend make[2]: Entering directory `/mnt/windows/Vault/Wine/wine/wine-20010731/tools/wr c' yacc -bppy -ppp -d -t ./ppy.y make[2]: yacc:

Confidence interval on quantile regression predictions
I am using the quantreg package to build a quantile regression model and wish to generate confidence intervals for the fitted values. After fitting the model, I have tried running predict() and predict.rq(), but in each case I obtain a vector of the fitted values only. For example: library(quantreg) y<-rnorm(50,10,2) x<-seq(1,50,1)

Conflict with openwatcom (wrc)
Whoops. Sorry about that. I wasn't supposed to actually have that as a reply, it was meant to be another top-level post. To summarise, wrc in the Mandriva wine-1.1.0 RPM available from Sourceforge conflicts with the name of "wrc" in openwatcom, which is also a Win32 resource compiler. Cheers, The Viking, Flying Brick Systems.

Wine : error during compilation (mandriva 2006 - x86_64)
Hi, I have Mandriva 2006 x86_64. I tried to install wine, but the binaries are for 32 bits and the result is very instable (win programs close suddenly, no internet available for those programs, etc...) So I tried to compile wine 0.9.14 from source, but I have an error during make when "searching for -lXext" : LD_LIBRARY_PATH="../../libs/unicode:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH"
